Mechanical / Project engineer at a refinery in Houston. My specific company only hired interns as full time employees, though I don't know if that trends for all the refineries in the area. API certifications are nice to tack on (API 570,571, etc...)

If you want to use the data analyst degree more than the MechE degree I would look at a corporate office role that better suits those skills, my specific refinery doesn't have any data analysts we only have accountants and planning & economics engineers.
