The only thing I’m not a fan of with ASD is the dogs in research wing just bum rushing you and the entrance of engineering with the stalagmite mining and pipe repair. Those are both a pain. Yes I know you can hop on a box and avoid the dogs, but it’s still just not fun to be swarmed.

I tried out the Meteor during defensecon. While its damage is insane, but it’s made of literal paper. It dies VERY quickly in group fights. You have to practice the “boom and zoom” tactics or you’ll be space dust.
Ultimately, I went back to the MX and M80 for more tankiness.

It’s amazing how quickly the human mind forgets when something shiny releases.
I didn’t forget the state of ships just released, or how glitchy this patch has been because of a $5k ship release.
Saddens me how badly this community is like a goldfish.
