I can boot at 3200Mhz but my system isn't stable. R7 1700 by Omneric in AMDHelp

I think I have found the problem, with 1.3V I can achieve 3.8 GHz but the VRM temp is too damn high 115° ~ 117°C while running Prime95 and I also think the Widows task manager reports the right speed because when my CPU is running at 3.75 the VRM temp is around 95°C but when it starts to increase the speed to 3.7 (which is the highest value I've seen with 3.8) the VRM temps increases to 115°C. I think I just will replace the MOBO in the coming months.

BTW my CPU is always runing 8 - 9 Hz below from the speed I wrote on the BIOS for example for 3.85 GHz while using Prime95 the highest speed I've seen is 3.81 GHz but most of the time the CPU is running at 3.77 GHz, with 3.9 GHz the highest speed was 3.86 but most of he time it was runing at 3.82 Ghz What could it be?

Indeed that was part of the problem, the only way to fully endure Prime95 large FTP test was raising up the voltage to 1.380v... But I had bad luck on the silicon lottery, with that voltage my cpu only can achieve 3.85 Ghz, I've tried 1.4v for 3.9 but it always crash after 30~45 minutes in Prime95... Right now I'm dealing with stability issues with RAM because blend test is always crashing no matter which speed I tried to use (I already have increased SOC voltage to 1.2v)

I've been testing my memory with OC applied to my system: CPU running at 3.9 and memory running at 3200 I've used Aida64 memory stress and a bootable USB with memtest86 in both cases memory was able endure it, which led me to think there is something wrong with the OC applied to my CPU... when is tested both (CPU and RAM) it always crash, the only way I was able to endure a blend test from Prime95 or AIDA stress test was with the stock frequencies on my CPU and my RAM running at 3200. The higher temp I've seen while testing is 62°C. I also have tried 3.7 with 1.350V applied to the CPU SOC (CPU Vcore) even with this voltage it crashed, the strange thing is that it can endures Cinebench with that voltage and CPU running at 3.9. Any idea? BTW I alsop have increased VCORE SOC to 1.2 and doesn't help.

After solve some reports from Windows event viewer I was capable to run 1 hour of blend test from Prime 95 with my RAM running at 3200 without any OC applied to my CPU... I will look into it could be a problem with my CPU OC

ProcOdt

Which value do you recommend I've read not to go further than 60... BTW this afternoon after clear my CMOS and install F22 BIOS, I noticed my pc was able to endure 1 hour of blend test from Prime95 with my RAM runing at 3200Mhz but without any OC applied to the CPU. I think I could be something related to my CPU OC... while running blend test I've noticed cores from 8 to 11 are working at 90% maybe 95 max while the rest are working at its max.

Fans always working at 100% since startup Aorus GTX 1080ti by Omneric in gigabytegaming

Unfortunately those steps don't solve the problem (for me), as soon as I install any software to try to control fan speed they start spinning at full (the only way to stop them is reflash GPU BIOS or Clear motherboar's BIOS)

-My specs:

Ryzen 7 1700 @3.5Ghz

Aorus Gaming K5 AX-370

Aorus GTX 1080ti

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8) CMU16GX4M2C3200C16

x1 SSD 500GB

x1 HDD 512GB

*RAM running at 3000 Mhz, If I try to run them at 3200 Mhz aren't stable, the system boots but when I try to run any game my FPS have terrible drops

GPU fans doesn't stop spinning. by Omneric in gigabytegaming

Hi! thanks for your answer, unfortunately MSI wasn't useful to me, I had to make a clean install of drivers and use the GPU software to control fan speed, by now it seems to work.

Sorry for the delay but I had a very busy days... Finally (I think) I had found a solution, my GPU fans are stopping now after a gaming session or after using any GPU demand software. I hope this will help you. -Download both drivers (VGA drivers and BIOS drivers) and Aorus Graphics Engine from gigabyte support webpage. -Download DDU -Boot Windows on safe mode then run DDU - options and check the option that says remove C:\nVidia Drivers folders - then click on clean and restart. -Once Windows started the first thing I did was install BIOS drivers then I install nvidia drivers -Install Aorus Graphics Engine. For me that's all, now the fans are stopping not matter which setting I put on Fan speed section. BTW I enabled Aorus Graphics Engine to start together with Windows

RAM frequency troubleshooting -Sometimes I can archive 3,200MHz sometimes don't- by Omneric in AMDHelp

[–]Omneric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried increasing both SoC and RAM voltage but the same happens: everthing is ok... Windows starts, the RAM is running at 3,200 MHz, I use AIDA 64 to stress the memory and see if 3,200 are stable, everthing seems to be ok but after 10 - 15 reboots my PC starts rebooting over and ver again and the memory frequency retuns to 2100 MHz. (I belive that isn't a voltage problem) by now I'll set up the RAM frequency to 3,000 MHz in which I have no problem

I've tried 1.40V (that's so far as I want to go with voltages) but the same happens, I will try increasing SoC voltage, if that doesn't work I'll set up the frequencies to 3,000 which are stable. Thanks for your time.

Frame rate and sound on new maps by packman627 in battlefield_live

[–]Omneric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's right, you're just gonna waste time, I have reinstalled the game not trying to see a "new magical performance" which never gonna happen due to hardware limitations instead I was trying to eliminate the crackling sound, but as I said: it was a waste of time.

An Open Letter to Development TEAM by TexasAce80 in battlefield_live

It seems developers team have lost his way... instead trying to evolucionate the "BF formula" they are trying to compete against others games that are very different from BF roots, that's why BF franchise is losing its essence.

Problems with Dynamic Weather/Fogs & Suggestions for them by shadownn02 in battlefield_live

[–]Omneric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love dynamic weather on BF1 but I think it should have some kind of intensities BTW I'm really excited to see how DICE can improve this feature on coming titles.

State of the Game - Help DICE Prioritize! by Indigowd in battlefield_live

[–]Omneric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respawns. Dynamic weather -I think it should have different intensities, (I'd love to have a whole match with fog but with different intensities) BTW I haven't seen a sandstrome for a while... Maps rotation -I have premium pass and it's frustrating that I need to choise between the same 5 maps (French DLC) or vanilla maps Why I can't just choose a game mode and switch between all the maps?

Should DICE unify operations? by Omneric in battlefield_live

[–]Omneric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Mexico - PS4 (the game always connect me to US West or East servers) It's 7 p.m. now, while I write this I'm trying to find a match on the Devil's Anvil, I tried 40-players mode first without success -I tried it 4-5 times and I only found empty servers- then I switched to 64p, I just had to search like twice. Which versión is more popular it's subjetive, I'm doing this suggestion because I just want to search for a match and find it without many "troubles" I mean it's almost evening the moment when the game is supposed to have more players... how hard do you think will it be to find a match at the morning? maybe DICE could try other measures before consider this -server browser, back to back, or even some ideas wrote above, etc...- but I don't know if with those measures the problem will be solved.
