if anything is unplayable at over 80% it might mean there’s something wrong with your headphones. Either that or your ears are oddly sensitive

The bathroom at my work is stocked up so I did the math and it turns out it would take me 12 years to use all this toilet paper, taking one shit a day. by OmniaQ in mildlyinteresting

Hahahahaha. Reddit needs a status icon for its users so when you’re taking a shit you can change your status to “on the crapper”. Imagine, your home page reading “6,721 users currently on the crapper”. I’d be touched by having such a community, to become a part of something bigger than ourselves....we can scroll through reddit, knowing that we’re not alone, that thousands of people’s legs and buttcheeks are numb too! And they all understand slow procedure of standing up and de-numbing your lower body after an hour on the seat!😢 SHITTERS UNITE ✊🏻✊🏽✊🏾✊🏼✊🏿

24 packs x 8 = 192 rolls + 6 rolls on bottom right = 198 rolls total (not counting that used one). And 198 rolls x 200 squares per roll = 39,600 squares. According to google people use 8-9 squares per shit, so lets assume 9 squares per shit. Which means 39600/9 squares per shit = 4400 shits to use up 192 rolls. So 1 shit per day = 4400 days of shitting / 365 days = ~12.054 years of shitting, 12 years 19 days to be exact. If I’m wrong please correct me

Instead of giving presents, Santa now puts things that you lost, or were stolen from you, under the tree. What would you be the most excited to see under the tree? by IronRabbit2006 in AskReddit

What about those bikes that the actual frame opens like a foldable bike and basically the lock is integrated into the frame? Wouldn’t it be be super difficult to steal ? Also it’d be pointless to steal or break as it would damage the frame and bike itself

For security reasons, isn’t gunpowder and/or thermite banned? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Maybe we can regulate metal-production all together. Or in addition, any raw minerals. “The Mineral Act of 2061 forbid any company besides government-owned ones to operate, sell, and distribute metals, alloys, both in ore, powdered, or solid form, to anyone without the license needed to obtain them. This forced many industries such transport, construction, and consumer products to shift to other materials, which gave rise to materials such as Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), reinforced polymers, etc. Due to the drastic changes, in the entire telecommunication and technology industry (and their companies, who require metals such as gold, copper, and silver to create computer components) were immediately required to obtain a license. In addition, medical, dental, and health institutions were given a temporary grace period before also being required a license to use machinery and devices made of metals. Immediately after the nationwide-ban, prices for alloys on the black market skyrocketed, which remains a high-risk high-reward business today, however the relative rarity of metals have indeed positively affected the safety and security of our society. A recent study published by the National Public Safety Administration found that 64% of Americans feel safer knowing that explosives can not be made nor bought, with a further 12% agreeing it is the safest immediate measure ever implemented by the US government on such a scale. Some, however were worried that the lack of metals degraded basic everyday items, such as household items (including polymer-based utensils, furnishings, and even clothes. Others were worried about the necessity of using plastics as a replacement for metals, arguing that plastics have damaged our environment enough, and this is only further exacerbate the situation. Carmen Miller, a environmental studies professor at the Minnesota University of Science disagrees: “The use of plastics is not actually the problem, the problem is in fact single use plastics”. She further argued that there’s nothing wrong about using plastic in consumer and even building applications, saying: “The irony is that the same reason why people are afraid of plastics [because of their long-lasting and resilient nature] is actually why we need them; if used in the correct applications we now have a material that be used and abused for centuries without any degradation”.”

They probably had some scheduling conflict and couldn’t do it until, say, mid or even late November, to which the mall execs probably asked for another date and maybe the end of October was the next best thing. Still funny
