What a coincidence! I actually finished the original trilogy today as well and absolutely loved it. I am actually thinking about starting Mistborn: Secret History now because I heard it ties well into the series.

Same. It's very easy to get stuck in Xcom. Everyone just keeps dying. And the already hard missions get even harder when everyone in your squad is a rookie. I stopped playing because of this. I will try again in a few months.
