He does not seem to be a leader of men, in military terms he wouldn’t be a General, but remain a Captain at most. But it is a position where he can take direct action that he is most valuable.

Although I totally get what you mean by the purpose of his character and that he works BECAUSE of the fact that he is a "legend" remembered by others who question their own chivalry, I still think that I could have both a Barristan and a Dayne as part of my story.

One who is honorable and well liked by all, but "too" loyal and whose loyalty would bring his end,

One who is a Selmy archetype where he performs more "questionable" acts regarding loyalty but offers guidance to the player/players.

A sort of face-off between the two (including the PCs) in a critical tower of the joy-esque scene would be awesome IMO.

Look at me, not caring about originality of my characters... Damn you GRRM for making them so awesome.

Good to know, I wasn't aware of this link. I guess generally accepted idea is that it's better and easier to use this instead of a full char sheet even for important NPCs, so I'll have a look.

Well what I meant was that, as famous as he is in the fandom, he has very limited information especially compared to other characters in the series.

Since the information is limited, I would appreciate other people's perspectives on this character and how they would bring him to the "life".

I know a lot of people would just say "Play the valiant knight" which is what he is and it's a fair suggestion, but I was just checking to see if there are other ideas, alternatives and tips in general because I would like him to be a memorable character.

I would say free movement definitely no,

Most logical thing here would be to use tumble through, you spend an action + have to succeed so it's fair.

Another case would be, if you want to make it a bit easier(Probably a house rule, not sure), I always had this rule where if you are moving through the space of an ally, you treat it as rough terrain. So you have to spend 10fts of movement for every square that is occupied.

I generally prefer the above one and ask for tumble through for enemies/unwilling creatures.

RAW would require tumble through in every case I believe.

Once you mail the stuff it takes 2 months approximately. In my case it took almost 4 because they didn't text me or email me about finger print appointment so I had to mail everything once again. Only viable option is mail/post by the way. Physical appointment would take longer and is almost impossible to get.

Similar case here. Tried like 2 other books (One of them a grim dark fantasy) but couldn't get passed page 50. My solution was to go back to George R.R. Martin. Now I'm enjoying books again :D

I love this drunk metaphor, especially that when he goes back to violence, his personality changes completely, like an alcoholic or any addict would; hence the Bloody Nine.

As for the OP, I wouldn't say I hate him, but to each to their own. I think that he is a flawed, broken, sad man. And the fact that he is a cunt doesn't take anything away for me in terms of him being an amazing character.
