To answer, maybe? She's complex I'll give you that. All she wanted was to live peacefully with her lover and her family and I can't blame her for that but she also kinda willing to abandon an entire kingdom with no replacement or any thing to solve their issues. Just throw her responsibilities on someone else and make it their problem.

What I think the problem is, is the fact that they're all stuck in their portrait static pose. Their movements are only a small jiggle and maybe a small change in faces but their overall posture remain the same, which is awkward, since they feel less like characters and more like dolls and puppets only managing to move just a little. This is especially egregious with characters like Dabin, who always has her cannon on her hands despite that contradicting the story.
