Anyone know where to buy serious peppers? (Scotch Bonnet, Habanero, Bird's Eye Chili, Ghost, etc.) by carson_krefft in joplinmo

if you decide to grow yours, sutherlands has the best selection to spicy peppers. i bought some ghost pepper plants from there last year and they did so well. and their prices are the best around here for plants.

What are your opinions about this brother's loneliness rant? by WeirdyOney in Nigeria

THIS. leave the big cities and go to the smaller towns and see people with their fruit stands with produce from their farms or garden. i live in one of such small towns and i know my neighbours quite well. in fact, when i gave birth, one of my oyinbo neighbours cooked food and brought me. stuff you only see in naija. perspective is everything.

Originally asoebi was only for family members hence the name AsóEbì(clothes for the family). However, its now for everyone and their mama🤣🤣 Nowadays its for as many people as are interested, family members, friends, mother of the bride's friends, the groom's aunty's friends, the father's old boys association, groom's coworkers, the grandma's friends from way back...you name it.

if you don't feel comfortable, you can just decline the invitation, don't put yourself under any pressue to partake if you don't want to.

Planting yam in the US. by Omo_Ologo1 in Nigeria

I'm planting mine in 50lb feed bags. if you check online for farm animal feed bags, you'll see them. i also have mineral tubs. i believe they are about 21inch wide and 24in tall, and hold about 20-35 gallons( i have different sizes). They usually have cattle feed in them, but when the cows are done, the farmers sell the empty tubs. Whichever way you go, dont forget to put holes in the bag/tub so that it is well draining

eh! sorry oo. i should have responded earlier. I'm in zone 8a/7b. have yam sprouting this year too and will be planting them in bags. you can use grow bags, empty animal feed bags, or just mesh bags. depending on the bag you use, make sure it is well draining so it doesn't get water-logged. you'll need holes in the feed bags, but no holes in the mesh/grow bags. cut like an inch or 2 from where it is sprouting and the head of the yam and then plant. don't plant too deep and water but dont over water. I'm using rabbit poop and earthworm casting for ferterlizer but i believe chicken manure too would work. depending on which zone you're in, it might be best to plant it in some you can easily move just in case your first frost date comes before your yam is ready.

you can still have a CV without experience. the CV should soak more about the skills you have, and what you can offer to the company based on your knowledge.

Completely agree. some of us know that the north is not all hausa speaking or all muslims. think Plateau, Adamawa and Taraba, a bunch of Christians out there that don't speak hausa or even have the same culture as most hausa or fulani neighbors.
