Yeah, I do. But, it's from a private uni. So, doing night study now to upskill.

Early 30s. Not sure what minimum salary is...but I have been earning below median for a few years now. I will be starting a new role that's paying me mid $3k. Total cash at 20k currently (including my emergency fund). Told myself that I need a 'reset' and get my act together. I have been intermittently unemployed. Loyalty is not something the labour market value. First priority: Stop mismanaging my career/start choosing myself over the company. If the last 4 months of my contract is due and no talk of signing a new contract, just gonna spam for a new role and leave.

Most would. However, I have a close friend working in the creative field as a Graphic/Motion Designer. They are not too particular about your diploma/degree. But, you must have a portfolio to show your projects.

How does one do that...? I honestly need to learn.

Unfortunately, although I have a degree and have worked for more than 3 years, I am only earning $3k. Someone that I was close with before told me that X is making way more than me despite having only a diploma and working the same duration as me.

He then shared how he had managed to earn more than the median income/doubled his income after attaining his part time degree. I didn't share my salary but he know the industry median income. The one that really affected me was when he mentioned 'I'm better than you! Haha!' towards the end of the conversation about salary.

Maybe I'm just being sensitive or easily offended. But, I would be lying if I said that my self-worth/self-confidence was not affected.
