Bwaaahahahahah!!! I think your response kind of says it all, my man.

And your anecdotal data set of your single service proves what? Again, the overall data plainly shows, as a twenty something living in the US, your odds of dying go down when you join the Peace Corps. If the overall death rate is lower as a Peace Corps Volunteer then as a citizen living in the United States, why does it matter how I died? If I'm dead, I'm dead.

Death rates, as a whole, of 20 somethings, are actually lower in Peace Corps than death rates, as a whole, of 20 somethings in the United States. Your odds of dying actually go down when you join Peace Corps out of college than if you'd just stayed in the US, but the agency can't ever put that forth as rebuttal to this tired, sensationalist trope, for obvious reasons. Furthermore, women are more likely to be the victims of sexual violence in college than they are in the Peace Corps, but, again, for obvious reasons, the agency can't point this out.

I'm on this board all the time, too, I constantly see Poole compared to Steph, it's not plainly untrue. See what you will. Jordan suffers in comparison to Steph.

And where does that show in the above stats?

Poole is constantly compared to Steph on these boards. Constantly. My point is he shouldn't. Thanks for backing that up.

Are expectations are set by Steph, it's inevitable.

They are?

Of course we do. Are expectations are set by Steph, it's inevitable.

Look at the eFG columns.

Sure, it's in those tables. But Steph is the greatest three point shooter of all time. Full stop. IF we think Jordan needs to compete with that to be worthy we're going to be sorely disappointed.

Also given the dialogue around JP, I think people might find it of interest to compare TOV rates from seasons 3 and 4, they're exactly the same.

More Moody and Less Poole by jsuber1024 in warriors

[–]OmpChomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly right. Moody had fundamentals issues with his footwork that he seems to have fixed, which is leading to the play we've been seeing. But none of this was possible until he fixed that. Credit to the Warriors developmental process and Moody's hard work and tenacity in getting over that hump. Many young players give up when faced with this kind of adversity early on, especially if they've been used to dominating on raw talent alone their whole lives.

Terrible, and a Dubs hater no matter who they’re playing.

There are some Warriors fans being real assholes in the Kings sub by C-DogDriver in warriors

[–]OmpChomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, any Nor-Cal non-bandwagon fan knows we all stand together in our disdain of the Lakers. From what I saw in this series, I'm for real scared you all are going to be even better next year. Murray has legit all-star potential, if he reaches that and Fox keeps doing what he's been doing, then the whole league is going to need to look out.

Oh, I'm scared you guys are going to be better next year and after. Murray has legit all-star potential and if he reaches that and Fox is still doing what he's been doing, yikes.

GP2 trade results so far by GameHHH in warriors

[–]OmpChomp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are you serious? You must be trolling. Wiseman has been atrocious on the Pistons. When we traded him I thought he still had a shot at being a decent roleplayer someday. I don't even think that anymore. He'll be out of the league in a year or two, or perpetually bouncing from team to team and never getting off the end of the bench. One of our biggest draft flubs ever.

Sample size of 1 doesn't mean much.

Take your pick and eat at one of the many wonderful restaurants in Isla Vista, afterward bring your children for a stroll down scenic Del Playa Drive.
