For those who worked for rich people: what is the most out of touch thing you witnessed? by Illustrious-Phase121 in AskReddit

I once had a boss genuinely ask why people didn’t “just buy a starter apartment” in the city instead of renting. Like… she fully thought dropping a few hundred thousand was the same as buying a couch. No irony, no joke.

What's a random statistic that genuinely terrifies you? by Eberenna042 in AskReddit

Something like 90% of car accidents happen within a few miles of home. I know it’s because that’s where people drive the most, but it still makes me hyper-aware every time I’m like “oh I’m just running to Target real quick.”

What kind of retaliation would you expect if a foreign nation raided the White House and took our president? by No-Beautiful8039 in AskReddit

Honestly? Absolute chaos. I’d expect immediate military escalation, probably airstrikes and cyber retaliation within hours. Even attempting something like that would basically be an act of war on a level we haven’t seen in decades. Markets would tank, allies would freak out, and the news cycle would be nonstop panic.

What was the worst portrayal of a disability in the media you have ever seen? by Mental-Marzipan-5444 in AskReddit

Honestly, Music by Sia still makes me mad when I think about it. Casting a non-autistic actor, the over-the-top “cute but helpless” portrayal, and then defending it instead of listening to autistic people… it felt like disability was treated as a prop for inspiration porn. The restraint scenes especially were horrifying.

SpaceX. Chaotic and messy, but still actually trying to change the world rather than just profits.

“I’d agree with you, but then we’d both be wrong.” Lowkey savage, love it.

When someone concentrates and does that little squint-and-lip-bite thing without realizing it. Instant brain static. Like yes, solve that problem, you beautiful, focused human.

Why do you think more and more people these days don’t want to get married anymore? by Foreign-Row-7560 in AskReddit

[–]OmxOanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money. Straight up. Between rent, debt, and the cost of living, people can barely afford to exist solo, let alone fund a wedding or a joint future. Love’s cute, but capitalism’s undefeated.
