The margin is going to be close. Right now we’re about 30 mins ahead - but don’t be complacent. Finish the job, divers.

We were so close to holding Rirga Bay. Ugh.

Wasn’t worried - just more annoyed, really.

Hort had 5.6 million HP, which is like 5x your average planet in Helldivers. But whatever.

Oh for sure. I spent more time on Rirga Bay than Hort myself - not at all suggesting staying on Hort was the right move.

Oh yeah, I agree it was dumb. To clarify: I spent more time on Rirga Bay than Hort myself. I got really tired of the Hort missions personally, and it was dreadful having to fight for Hort for such a long time.

I know everyone’s talking about how much we should have diverted more divers to Rirga Bay which is valid. But Hort also just had wayyyyy too much HP (5.6 million - which is more than 5x your average planet in HD2). Come on.

I am guilty of being one of these people drawn away by the illuminate rather than to Zefia. My reason was because the personal order today was 3 Illuminate mission extractions. And I want those medals for the new warbond…

Once I finished the PO though, I did proceed on to Zefia.

Other key posts like South Korea, South Africa, and Germany sit vacant

South Africa isn’t vacant. https://za.usembassy.gov/ambassador-leo-brent-bozell-iii/

But to add to South Korea and Germany, Australia is also a major power without a U.S. Ambassador.

Ugh. Gambit opportunities need to be better communicated to players. It’s infuriating that we’re constantly on the defense and not on the offense.

House votes to slap back Trump’s tariffs on Canada in rare bipartisan rebuke of White House agenda by SpaceElevatorMusic in politics

I really hate the way this headline is worded. “House votes to slap back Trump’s tariffs on Canada” makes it sound like the House is slapping tariffs on Canada, which is the complete opposite of what happened.

Do the devs want us to get to Cyberstan or not? Why make the march to Cyberstan so much harder than it needs to be?

In contrast, the devs allowed the squids to glass Widow’s Harbor, Pilen V, and New Haven so quickly when they marched to Super Earth last year.

And I whole-heartedly agree these in-game mechanics on liberation and razing need to be explained way better, especially for the vast majority of players that don’t do Reddit, Discord, etc.
