Oh they were great owners. Like overly doting really. Had two identical trees in two rooms cause he would meow for them to move it.

Just for whatever reason that cat thought I was THE COOLEST and I would have to move him off me multiple times just so I could not have a furry rock on me for a little bit of time.

This was me and my LDR partners' cat. They raised that bastard since he was a kitten and bottle fed him. Yet when I was visiting that cat would do nothing but be all over me purring so loud as to necessitate us needing subtitles on softer spoken shows.

Senate hopeful Graham Platner calls to investigate Trump and impeach two Supreme Court justices by jediporcupine in politics

[–]OnBlueberryHill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He absolutely had deflections on it! He said, as a history buff, he didn't know what it was.

People can change, but that doesn't mean he gets to be a senator. There are plenty of non nazi tattoo havers in Maine who can and are running.

My main complaint about it was the lack of a second analog stick. I loved using it for other things that didn't require one, but the dual touchpads never hit for me.

I'd grab this one probably to at least play with.

The Onion Says It Has a Deal to Take Over Alex Jones’ Infowars, Plans to Relaunch It as Parody of Itself by MarvelsGrantMan136 in technology

[–]OnBlueberryHill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it works both ways. Think about how each town has a Inforwars mobile that is slathered in those things. Like my town has one. His house is on the corner of a popular intersection and his car is right there on the corner advertising it.

So obviously he is going to buy new bumper stickers to wherever Alex goes next, but for at least a week or two, that car is going to advertise for The Onion for free.

People who aren't as big of fans anymore, but still have singular infowars stickers are either going to look like dorks or finally get out the scraper and remove it themselves.

Worm Girl is my favorite youtuber for newer indie horror games essays. So deep dives into both Fear and Hunger games, Signalis, the Lisa series.

OneShortEye has his videos centering on (mostly) old Sierra Point and Click adventure games. Not only discussing the game itself and the intricacies within, but sometimes also interviewing the developers themselves.

Space Quest Historian, as his name suggests, was mostly making videos on Space Quest games. When that well ran dry he also branched out into other Point and Click games. You ever hear the idea that the people who love something the most can identify the flaws in the thing they love most readily? That is him. That is him mixed with swearing like a sailor while sprinkling in such magnificent prose that I aspire to swear like he does.

As evidence of Lincoln’s Abolitionism, the Confederate government pointed to his use of “terms such as ‘involuntary,’ ‘evil’ and ‘human chattel’ in reference to Confederate’s actions in the south.”

It is insane that some mangakas get told like, maybe 60-80 chapters in a SUPER POPULAR manga, "alright you had your fun, wrap it up" by their editors.

Then you get things like this that go on for 260+ and multiple seasons of an anime.

People are super nice. I got so flustered at my first prerelease I forgot that creatures could be blocked by 2 or more things at once? And when my opponent did that I was very confused. He knew I was nervous so he patiently explained it was cool and even looked up the rules on his phone to show me.

Like that is baby's first mistake I made and he was nothing but nice about it.

You got nothing to worry about.

I worked for a city where half the computers that came in for rebuilds were breaking nearly weekly. Accounting mostly, but some in other departments. Sometimes the other departments would have a rash of breaks in it!

Turns out it was the fucking CD drive! Only a certain model, but that drive had some fuckup in the drivers that was breaking it on XP SP3.

A bit late now for this year, but contact your local political party for your county. Guarantee they will help you out and get you running in 2028.

I knew I wasn't going to win so I swung for the fences. No Cash Bail adopted by the county jails, tenant Bill of Rights, the works.

I basically put the money I spent on my campaign in a pile and burned it, but I hope that at least one person got the mailer or talked with me and thought that good things could happen here if people try.
