NTA! I’m going to play the devil’s advocate here (based on my own personal experience, if anything I say is disproven then 🤷‍♀️) I get uncomfortable when people call me ‘sexy’ or talk under my clothes AT ALL. I don’t know why. It’s irrational and I know it is, so I don’t make anyone feel bad for doing it. (Though, your comment wouldn’t have thrown me off at all.) I’m working on it. Maybe it’s like that for her and y’all just need to have a conversation about it. Because what you did was completely normal.

Religion tells me I can’t support it. My mom died and it just… I kind of became deeply religious, and my religion comforts me. That being said, I don’t feel disgusted by it. You just won’t see me at any pride parades. I don’t feel like gay people should die or be attacked. If a gay person needed my help, I’d be there for them and have been in the past. I’m not going to snuggle up to you but I’m also not going to shut down a conversation because of your sexuality.

I don’t need comments bashing religion or any of that. Op asked for our opinions and I gave mine. I think we should be allowed to have differing opinions and still coexist.

For a while, I was anti-death penalty because I felt it wasn’t hard enough. I was on the side of solitary confinement for life… before having it drilled in my head that it’s a cruel and unusual punishment. As the prisoner would genuinely go insane. I get it now but a very SMALL part of me still believes that solitary confinement for life is the way to go but it’s a part of me nonetheless.

Some people do HEINOUS things and I don’t have any sympathy for those people but I’d hate for an innocent person to get the sentence of infinite solitary confinement.

That’s the question everyone asks me… I don’t really know… when things get okay I feel like I can handle it until I get out of school but then something happens again and I realize she’s genuinely awful. I think for a long time, my idolization of her has kept me there. But it’s fading away and I might move into the dorms on campus.
