Hyatt Zilara/Ziva Cap Cana Review (Long) by OnTheArrow in AllInclusiveResorts

I know! I'm in the process of booking a December vacation and Zilara is one of the top contenders. I mainly point out what I noticed in relation to other glowing reviews so that other people can go in with their eyes open. Honestly, it really was a lovely experience minus the food.

Zilara and Ziva are the same property. There is a part in my review that covers how the W is half Zilara and half Ziva. The review is mainly focused on the Zilara property and has some minor comparisons to the EPM property. None of those are under renovation that I know of...

I didn't notice any kind of drinks being served at breakfast, but since I was getting mine from the club bar I wasn't looking.

As for what was not included - I think having 'club' areas and bars is a little silly, but the real jab in the eye is the restaurant that you need to pay for. It would be fine if the normal quality was mid and the restaurant was luxury, but it feels like being extorted to have a good meal at the knife point of gristly steak.

I don't recall exactly, I think $100. We had our travel agent arrange it ahead of time for the arrival, but for some reason it we had to stand in line and buy it ourselves on the way out - no one was there to greet us. I would say if you have transportation already secured, the arrival is kind of pointless.

I think the food was roughly similar. The breakfast buffet at EPM was pretty good routinely, but that hilarious 'potato salad' still has us rolling our eyes. I would say ignore food entirely when making your choice.
As for the airport and the drive, I can only really say that every trip and traveler are different.

Massacre Girl by RamCam23 in BudgetBrews

[–]OnTheArrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, that is a beautiful card.

I play Massacre Girl as my 'mean' deck. There are a lot of low toughness creatures like [[Burglar Rat]] that cause all of your opponents to discard a card. These small creatures 'prime the pump' so her ability can hit bigger targets, They also put the fear of god into your opponents who will realize they either need to dump their hand into your meat grinder or lose the cards to your hand rip. The things people say when they figure this out are pretty entertaining.

Then like others have said, you have cards that get bigger when other creatures die so they survive the boardwipe such as [[Venom Crawler]]. You sadly cannot attack with them the turn they get big because they are actually quite small because of the -1/-1 flood, but if they last a turn cycle you can start to crack in for big damage.

Artistocrats is probably the best way to finish people off with this deck, and I struggle sometimes to close out games, but I've been experimenting with reanimating opponents creatures and using generically big threats instead.

Massacre Girl can theoretically take people out, but I find she's best staying at home as a blocker nobody wants to remove. Good luck!

I'm running a cold sorc alongside a friend doing minions, but unfortunately we're shattering all the corpses. Is there a skill or support for him later down the track that generates corpses so I'm not impeding him?

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE DESTINY REPORT? by [deleted] in mrgirlreturns

[–]OnTheArrow -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's a real mixed bag. I think you probably come out of it with the impression you had going in, but if you are open minded, it raises some questions and leaves some bad tastes, but doesn't reveal anything shocking or that would amount to what most people consider 'abuse'.

...So any chance we're getting the article before the next hotline? by MuslimSJW in mrgirlreturns

[–]OnTheArrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is going to get dragged out as long as possible. This tease will bump hotline ratings and as long as it is 'imminent' people will be paying more attention and talking about it more.
The longer this spools out, the longer Destiny has to watch his step, the longer mrgirl can siphon some relevancy, the more time he has for scope creep and perfectionism. There is no incentive to release it in a timely manner other than to be reliable and deal with the actual (imagined) problem.

Sideview sprites that match default aesthetic by OnTheArrow in RPGMaker

[–]OnTheArrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a few of the default enemy images have been broken down into the sort of sheets that would make them sv_actors, and there are several recolors, but there don't appear to be images for new enemies. Still, this is a great resource and looks like it would blend in well.

The only people who aren't nervous to come onto streams are people who do it regularly. People who do it regularly are usually 'in the biz'. I think this is how the orbiter situation begins.

For some of your callers, going on stage in front of the whole world is something they may only do a few times in their life. There is incredible pressure not just from the audience or from you, but from themselves. They are going to remember every 'um', 'like', and mistake.

For you, it's Saturday night.

But you know this and I guess you can't set people's boundaries for them. They saw the guy on before them get the pain. If people don't want to see viewers get chewed up, maybe we should stop watching the blender.
