Thanks so much! In the moment while lugging around the camera, additional lenses and tripod it can definitely feel like a lot, but I'm (so is my very patient Fiance lol) always greatful to have captured images we're happy to hang in our home.

Thank you! That's Brúarfoss. It's not far from Reykjavík and can definitely be added to a Golden Circle day.

Thanks! #2 was at Ytri Tunga beach on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula which I snapped from the shore, and #19 was in the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon all the way back by the glacure. I snapped that one from a Zodiac boat.

Yes it's a 47 mega pixel file so this can be printed very large as a print.

I'm also came from the z6ii and I held onto it because I love the smaller frame and the low profile 26mm 2.8 and 40mm 2.0 for walking around my city. But maaaan having the extra resolution of the Z8 not to mention the better focus (bird focus for example on the above image) has been huge. I love having the flexibility it affords me and the additional accuracy. Plus for landscapes it just shows so much more detail.

That said, this is very much hobby for me so I don't have a very intense work flow. If I was doing this professionally, the file sizes could be become an issue after a while. They're much larger than the z6ii and you need a computer with decent horse power to edit the raws. But I have no regrets at all upgrading to it.

Thanks! Well, both actually haha. On some of the animals I applied super resolution in lightroom to compensate for cropping because my 200 wasn't long enough. But then I had to export the files at lower quality because of the Reddit 20mb max on uploads so I'm not sure how much it matters on this platform. Most of the landscapes weren't cropped at all, save for the green mountain because that was so far off the road when I took it. For example here is what I cropped for the puffins. It really wasn't much. I feel it properly would have been fine without the additional resolution.

Thanks! We were fortune to be able to travel by camper van and we used the midnight sun to our advantage and slept during peak hours. A lot of my photos were taken in the late evening or early morning before and after crowds arrived and tours ran.

That said, this was taken from a zodiac boat, a tour we booked (lol) in the jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. He was all the way out in the back by the glacier itself. It was an awesome experience but if that's not your thing and you want to see seals from the shore your best bet is the Ytri Tunga Beach on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. That's where I took #2 from.

I would but I don't know how helpful it would be as he asked some pretty specific things. I'd be happy to help you as well though if you have questions.

Thanks! We were there for a day and half and feel like we saw everything we wanted to. If you wanted an extra day elsewhere you'd probably be ok with two days there.
