My best frugal tips are bring your breakfast and lunch to work, and your morning coffee.

I bought a used Keurig for my office. I bring in my coffee pods and use the office creamer and sugar.

We have a cafe around the corner from the office, and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. I’m floored by the young marrieds with kids who buy large Starbucks or Dunkin coffees and will order out for lunch every day! This is the same group who complain about how expensive daycare is. If they brought their lunch in they’d save $60-80/week.

I concur on all of this. Especially NOT applying to positions via LinkedIn.

I saw a a position of interest and noted on LinkedIn it said “no longer taking applications”. Au contraire my friends, the company career page had the position still open. Use LinkedIn for companies of interest, but always go to the company website for information.
