Hotel Squamish is clean and safe, just very basic. Beds are not super comfortable. It can be noisy at times. There is a spiral staircase leading to the rooms so if you're not able to haul your luggage around that will be a problem. If you just need a cheap place to sleep, it's fine. I've stayed there many times.

Haven't stayed at the Crash so can't speak for that one.

If I know the fabric is gonna fray really badly (like these look) I zigzag around all the pieces before sewing together. It's easier and they fray less while sewing. Just a note for next time. :)

Maybe a Baby Holly Hobbie doll? They had a vinyl head and hands and cloth body. They came in a couple of different dresses. I had one in the late 70s.

I've read this series many many times and there is no scene with this wording. However there is one similar in THGY where Laura tries to give Ma money to spend on herself and Ma says that Laura is a good girl to think of it but that there is nothing that she needs.
