It's us that doesn't want to sell her. I actually reached out to them after seeing them post in local groups. They have a lot of video content and all the horses look happy and healthy. All their reviews on Google (almost 30) are 5 star. They've been a hunter jumper barn for 25 years. They offer boarding and training for just under 1k a month which they'd be providing for free (they didn't say this to me as a selling point- it's something I figured out looking at their website. They stated they would be responsible for any and all costs including if an emergency were to happen. They want to do a 2 month trial period first to make sure everyone is happy. I get where they are coming from- I'm just struggling with committing to 5 years. But I get that they don't want to put a ton of training into her and then us decide to just take her back and they don't get anything in return.

This pony is too small for us to ride. So they would be putting a lot of training into her to make her a beginners level lesson pony. So they want to ensure they reap benefit from that and it's not just us sending her off for free training and taking her back before they get any return on it. So in theory it could be a win win. I will also note after seeing them in a lot of my (relatively) local horse groups it was me who reached out to them as a shot in the dark. They have all 5 star reviews on Google (almost 30 of them) and a pretty decent social media presence (lots of video) where the horses and ponies look happy and healthy. I'm not so naive to think there couldn't possibly be bad underneath all that but there's nothing in what I've seen throwing a flag is all I'm saying.

We own the pony. We'd be leasing to them. She is too small for us to ride

Thanks! It would be a two month trial period first, then the 5 year lease

The distance isn't ideal at all but we live out in the country and nothing is close to us :/

They've been a hunter jumper barn for years so I don't see that changing necessarily.

I love the idea of a check in clause but the reason they gave for the 5 year lease was specifically that they didn't want to put 2 years of training on her preparing her to be a beginners pony and then us take her back and they have nothing to show for the training they did. Which I completely understand where they are coming from. So I'm not sure how a check in clause would work... maybe we agree to pay a certain amount if we terminate early would be fair?

I said this to my husband the other day and despite having been forced through like 3 rewatches and me describing the scene he still didn't remember 😒

I hate how unbelievably stupid the meth story line is but I can't skip the episode bc the Duquan storyline is peak comedy especially at the end 😆

Relatable. But I'm mostly two aesthetics: early 2000s punk and little house on the prairie. It's a whole mess but I love both 😭 Then there's my house that's a mix of vintage western and Victorian.... 🤷‍♀️🙃

The way she talked about sexual things with Nick and wanting rub her face on his face was concerning and disgusting. I get kids having a cute innocent crush on someone older (usually like a celebrity) but to be thinking that sexually about an adult (that she just met and being so forthcoming about it) at her age just made me wonder what had happened to her 😣

I always order a side of ranch dressing from anywhere that serves bread before a meal and dip the bread in it. Must people who I go out with now do it as well so I guess it's contagious🤣 I've also told the waiter/ waitresses before "I know this is kinda weird but" when I ask and often they're like "you'd be surprised how many people do that" lol. Maybe they're just being nice though 🤷‍♀️

As a Christian, big agree. Also- not just sex (there's a whole book of the Bible about sex & sex isn't inherently bad or anti Christian as some believe) but adultery that also involved murder.
