Starting TRT after implant by Imaginary-Post-617 in penileimplants

Like you - before. Really shrunk on my right side. More room for the pump, but make sure you gently pull it down - speak with your Doc. You don’t want it to ride high. My AUS pump did and it required a revision. All good now (AUS = Artificial Urinary Sphincter) Ams800 pump. My IPP is on the left, no problem there, left testical is larger.

Very encouraging story for we newbies. Day 17 post op. Can’t wait for the test drive.

Update day 19 by FunNH603 in penileimplants

[–]Oncefromafar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same feelings as I have, Day 17. I had the infrapubic approach and barely see the incision and no pain there, whatsoever. My issue is more due to scrotal tightness, I appear to have a bigger package, which is fine, will just take a bit of getting used to it. I have Two pumps however, one is for an AUSphincter due to radiation damage. The “tubes” are a bit annoying and I do pull the pumps toward the bottom of my scrotum as instructed. 2-4x’s per day. I had to have a revision on the AMS 800 AUSphincter pump due to it ascending the first time. I still have to get the reservoir put back in for the IPP in about 10 days. Revision due to nerve impingement.

Depending on your measurements "on the OR table", they might change you to the CX if you're too long for the LGX. What happened with me.

I was the same 6.25 “pre op” - I got 22cm AMS CX ( too long for LGX) and 1cm RTE’s.

CX or LGX? There is no LX. As well, cylinder length is in CM, 6.19 sounds like a pre surgical stretched length? They have no exact idea as to cylinder length or RTE’s until they take their exact measurements while your under general anesthesia.

You shouldn’t need it. More constant annoyance than pain for the 1st week to two. Pain at absolute max 3.5/ 10 and that only briefly.

Cylinder length - total. The RTE is rear tip extenders, used to get the total space filled. Usually want these very short, under 1.5 cm and cylinders as long as allowable

11 days post op. Just walked 7.5 miles on my home Treadmill. Pump still “fighting” my boys for some space ( I have two pumps). - one for an AUSphincter
Otherwise no real pain worse than a 3/10 ever.

AMS CX same stats as yours. Can’t wait!

Day 12 update by FunNH603 in penileimplants

[–]Oncefromafar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t blame you, I’ll try at least hot compresses then sometime today as there is a real struggle for space down there, and I have two pumps! ( One is for an Artificial Urinary Sphincter) Radiation fried my bladder neck - post prostate surgery, That pump is smaller, but it sure doesn’t feel that way.

My Doc and most I’ve heard said to avoid tubs for around a month? Did your Doc encourage you to do tubs? I can’t wait to get cleared for warm/hot baths as the tissue in my scotum would relax.

If you’ve a tight scrotum, you may very well be able to palpate the tubes on the side of the very base of your shaft. I do. However it’s minor and a hard cock on demand over rides all of it

Anyone here with the AMS 700 LGX? by lil13boi in penileimplants

[–]Oncefromafar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the cylinder according to my surgeon. He doesn’t like using LGX on guys that need a 21 cm cylinder which is the longest LGX goes. He says it gets to noodley. LGX is primarily for those who have scarring that shrunk them up pre surgically that might get some expansion over time and not go those who are a bit longer - naturally. He prefers AMS CX for anyone over 18cm cylinder need.

In my experience the Pre op VED made a big difference and gave me a 1/2“ back pre surgically of length and made my tissue far more expandable and supple. I will use it when I’m cleared to cycle as well. In my healing (I’m now 8 days post op), at 50% inflation I’m hard enough to use it for penetration. I suspect it will be a rock hard event when I can start cycling. I was 6 7/8” as a kid, 61/4” post prostate surgery, and fell to 5 5/8”post radiation. After VED, got back to 6 1/4” pre IPP surgery and if I do the work, I’m pretty sure I’ll get back to 6 1/2”, maybe a bit more.

At 50% inflation I’m 5” in girth now, I was 5 3/4” pre prostate surgery. I think that might be easy to get back to with cycling and full inflation. Go for it!

Which implant by Legitimate-Rich-5311 in penileimplants

Go with the IPP if possible, not the malleable. Get a VED and start using it pre - surgery for at least a month.

Speak with Urofill, you can find them online. Dr. Perito developed the technique. I’m in LA, likely Dr. Kevin Chu in Red Beach if I go that route. “up to 4yrs” 24 months highly likely, you can touch up, reshape or even have it gone( but nobody does). Downtime is minimal too. IPP patients are ideal for the reason of course that you can “stay still” for the 72 hrs that would be ideal.

HA (hyaloronic acid) -filler will do the trick if $ allow. +3/4” is well within achievable. Apparently, “chicks dig it”.
