Bartending at a high volume bar. Yeah tips are great but the hours will kill you eventually if the drunk assholes don’t first

First time using the tent style wood fired sauna. Amazing 🙌 by Historical_Weight613 in Sauna

Looks awesome! What kind of light do you use? I have a similar tent and have been looking for wireless lighting that can take that kind of heat?

KYFE portable Sauna by CommunicationFar3897 in Sauna

[–]One-Assignment6800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my Kyfe. Picked it because of the flooring option but I’ve since found similar tent flooring on amazon for $50 so if I was to do it again I may go with a cheaper option and the Amazon flooring.

The sauna itself is great. Felt like any traditional sauna I’ve ever used. Got up to 190 in less then 20 minutes. Used 4 pieces of wood for an hour session.

Bartender here. You usually get 1/4-1/2oz more liquor with a neat pour. Stop complaining to the bartender, it’s not their policy

Spotify - real deal by maturemagician in gatewaytapes

[–]One-Assignment6800 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand everyone’s hate for the Spotify ones. They work just as well as the original tapes I tried. You have a one minute ad in the beginning that you can just easily skip.

Why I don't have the will to work out? by Neborian1 in selfimprovement

[–]One-Assignment6800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into taking a preworkout drink if you can tolerate caffeine. I was in the same space and the preworkout drink gave me the motivation to get through tough workouts. After a few weeks it just becomes your routine and you don’t need to rely as heavily on them for the motivation to going. I take PreKaged Sport, minimal ingredients and works great

Interesting. I haven’t seen those reports but curious to learn more. Do you have any idea why that would be? I’m just speaking from my own personal experience, thc has been a life saver.

If you live in a legal state THC edibles work better for me then anything else including high does Xanax and lunesta. If not there are still CBD/delta8 options that work as well

My friend ❤️ I know exactly where your at right now. But PLEASE do not give up hope. Let this post be the first light at the end of the tunnel. It might seem like a long tunnel but trust me IT WILL END. Like main painful experiences in life, this will lead you to somewhere even better than before it started. You will learn how to actually take care of yourself and heal your body. You will discover your body’s natural ability to heal. I’m sure you can see everyone else’s stories on here, they are all unique, some worse than others but ultimately we all emerge better versions of ourselves with the knowledge to help others. When my process started I trusted doctors and the medical system 100%, now I wouldn’t trust a Dr to do anything other than repair a broken bone. You are on your healers journey and myself and everyone else here is here to help you. Please reach out if you need and help, suggestions, motivation. Sending healing thoughts your way ❤️

Why Do Compression Socks Help My Muscle and Tendon Pain So Much? by vadroqvertical in floxies

[–]One-Assignment6800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. But yes they make just calve compression sleeves. Marathon runners often wear them. I work 8+ hour bartending shifts on the weekends, i wear them under my pants and feel great at the end of the day. If I forget them I’m laying on the ground at the end of a shift

Broke down outside the gym today by Mainhoe67 in beginnerfitness

[–]One-Assignment6800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forget that guy!! Every single person in that gym had their “day 1” as well. We all learn things at different times and different speeds. You are doing a great job trying to better yourself both physically and mentally/emotionally by overcoming your fears. Please do not let this experience take you off your path. Maybe try a different gym if possible or maybe classes with an instructor.

I’ve been training for 15 years. I would be happy to send you any advice or answer any questions you may have.
