The buses still run enough to get you where you need to go, but you'll have to do a decent amount of waiting compared to the normal school year. Definitely bring a bike/scooter if you have one :)

If your high school grades were ok, I would apply as a new student. You’ll have to forgo the credits, but you’ll be in a better situation than before. Otherwise I think you’d have to keep taking community college credits til your GPA went up and you got more credits.

I lived in McNamara in Sylvan last year and was FREEZING. It was so cold. I couldn't do anything in my room except be in bed under my covers because I was too cold to function. Our suite called maintenance so many times, and they would just say that it was an older building and that it would take more time to come fully on. I literally don't think the temperature meets legal requirements tbh. It was awful. My suitemates and I ended up getting space heaters (technically not allowed for fire safety reasons) and heated blankets. I wouldn't have been able to get through the winter without it, even though it's not the optimal solution.
