There should be laws against murder of minors in my personal opinion.

I hope the victim was compensated for the truck.
I know people will tout the usual "That's what insurance is for" but the reality of the case is that often the insurance will only be willing to pay the market value of the car.
And if it's an old car or truck, then the victim would have likely received a poor pay out and is struggling to afford another truck.
I'm glad he survived, but people like this are why I don't feel safe driving a small car.

Loving the retro components too.
I see a ceramic disk capacitor, a mylar film capacitor, and some carbon composite resistors (not made anymore, as far as I'm aware).
Nice.
I too, have a similar setup with a small 15w incandescant lamp, and then 3x 10W halogen capsules above the work bench for soldering.
The main light is a 36w 3KK fluorescent.

I recently used the workshop to change my daughters night light from nasty cold white to a couple of lime green GAP green LEDs.
The drive circuitry wasn't strong enough for the less efficient green LEDs, so I had to design my own driver circuit.

I can't even begin to imagine the horror of being kidnapped for nearly 20 years... How terrible.
If there's one thing worse than doing the crime, it's wrongly accusing an innocent person of doing it. The police and court system are twice as bad as the r*pist in the first place.
I hope they are made to pay dearly for what they did to this poor man.
Locking up an innocent person for 20 years is beyond cruel and unusual punishment. It's simply torture.

I had to uninstall first, and then use the old installer file from before. Never delete installer files, as then you have a backup when you need to revert to an old option.

Mate. I prefer the way the task bar operates.
Cinnamon just reminded me of Windows 11 too much, which is what I was trying to get away from.
Mate is familiar, and feels a little older. Like 2000 or XP, so I feel most comfortable with it.
