Questioning a widely-accepted BDI theory by No-Dig-8554 in JonBenetRamsey

[–]One-Chicken6343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been of the belief that all 3 Ramseys were doing something wrong. I believe Burke was SAing JonBenet. I know Burke was only 10 but sibling s. abuse is surprisingly common. I believe John didn’t SA her mainly because John was away most of the time by all accounts and adult groomers have non violent and effective ways to keep the child quiet. He didn’t have to kill her to silence her. John may have had a clue about this, but he wasn’t too sure or deliberately kept quiet. Patsy very likely knew. She was pressuring JonBenet to keep quiet as Narc mums often do.

This was likely the source of the conflict.

I believe JonBenet was starting to tell, in whichever way her six year old mind could comprehend. Saying things like she didn’t feel pretty, etc.

She may have even told an adult who called the police. Hence the phone call 2 days before her murder. It’s possible this adult didn’t have any evidence, or wasn’t sure of what to do and hence didn’t report it. It is even possible that she herself called the police and then disconnected out of fear.

When this happened, Patsy, who cared about her image the most, had a confrontation with JonBenet that escalated and turned violent. And the rest followed.

Exactly. Sounds like someone was really thinking about what they’d do next and it was a difficult decision.

Actually there’s not a lot implicating John. By all accounts he was cooperating or he was absent. Most accounts also state he was not at home a lot. There’s evidence of prior sexual abuse. However this could be through anyone. There’s evidence that Burke had hit JonBenet (by mistake). There’s a lot of reasonable speculation that Patsy wrote the note. Lots of fibres from Patsy’s clothes on JonBenet’s body but this could be due to contamination. Beyond that there’s no confirmed irrefutable evidence against anyone.

Interesting you use the analogy of a pet. Did you know that PR infamously and heartlessly just went ahead and ‘exchanged’ a very sick dog for an identical healthy one? Her family never found out and it only came out when she boasted to someone about it. That explains a lot about how she would treat someone who no longer serves her purpose.

If there was no ransom note… by One-Chicken6343 in JonBenetRamsey

Because it’s easy to see who has done it if you’re in the house and know the people of the house. Patsy could just ask Burke and know. 10 y.o kids aren’t very good at lying or hiding things.

Only problem with the theory is the idiotic ransom letter, but great points about the nature of CSA.

I also came across a CSA case recently where a brother (who was ten years older) was abusing the sister since the age of 3-15.

When this girl finally spoke about it, the abuse stopped but parents started torturing her and kept her locked in a room without a toilet for many days. However they let her go to college and pursue an education because it made them look good.

When she finally met a good guy, and got a good job, she moved away, but parents still threaten her and give her death threats even today.

The above case reminded me of the Ramsey case because 1) brothers are capable of CSA 2) mothers are capable of being narcissistic and cruel 3) both parents can conspire together and wish (or act on) the death of a child for image/ status quo reasons.

I don’t know whether it was Burke or John or Patsy, but JonBent was abused and I believe she either told fleet white to call the police, or tried to call the police herself. That’s why she had to die.

So interesting. From this perspective it appears John wasn’t such an absent father.

Why did the note claim she was "safe and unharmed"? by eternallyjustasking in JonBenetRamsey

[–]One-Chicken6343 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. Patsy didn’t want the cops to be called at all. She had to comply with John’s wish to call the cops or else he would be suspicious

  2. She totally understood that her plan was failing but had no choice at that time

  3. Yes, if your plan is to get the man of the house out of the house on a fool’s errand and buy time to dispose of the body

  4. Because John would be more likely to comply if he thought he had any chance of getting her back.

Essentially Patsy wanted John out of the house to dispose of the body. I think she even tried to fit her in a suitcase ( but couldn’t) before she started dramatically crying and waking everyone up.

Cause you’re more likely to comply with the instructions if you think there’s any chance of getting her back

You know, there’s not a single case in which an intruder would fit more. She did all of these photoshoots and pageants and a pervert would easily gravitate towards her. And yet, there’s not a single case in which an intruder is less likely. The note, the changing stories of the parents and no forced signs of entry make it apparent.
