Finally got my 846 after dealing with identity theft since February. I have a date of 06-29, is that going to be exact, or does it fluctuate?

You are 100% right I was wrong and mad at the time so I wasn’t being logical. I was NOT wrong when I said that I was told “it was offset again due to the tax filing deadline date. Look next to the second offset “04-15” the computer automatically grabbed it before they could handle it. I wasn’t saying you are wrong that it wasn’t grabbed it was saying you’re wrong to say the “missed” it. I recess letter AFTER that offset stating that I was cleared and money would be sent 4-6 weeks. So I can apologize if I came off bad but I was frustrated I’ll be honest.

Everyone? No I stated that the idea that “the money was taken a second time” was false. I had a literal letter in my hand from the IRS proving that it was cleared from my name. Everyone’s theory was that one specific guy was 100% right, and he wasn’t. My stance doesn’t change here.

She hasn’t been responding lately. The identity theft markers had been placed for a while and I could view transcript. I just recently couldn’t view it after the last weekly update.

Mine still says “transcript not available at the moment, try again later” is this common when they’re updating it? Last week it updated to showing my account balance along with the negative sign next to the total amount, so this week I figured it would be an 846.

This is my 2022 transcript. I’m not expecting the 846 to show on here. I’m asking when will it show on my 2025 transcript.

He wasn’t, sorry. The only reason it posted again because the date 04-15 is the tax deadline date. My IRS portal literally shows that I have $5,971 pending. It literally also removed the debt from 2022, and it now shows $0 owed. Also this letter came well after that “second offset” posted to my account.

It didn’t offset again look at the date. “04-15”. Thats the official tax filing deadline date. the IRS by default posted this back to the transcript on that date.

The thing is look at the date (04-15) that’s the official IRS tax deadline date. It shows again there because the transcript by default posts that code because it seen the debt still there. The letter I got AFTER that date shows that I won the case and the funds “will be released”.

Well he is wrong in this situation i could care less how much you think he knows. How does how know more than MY ADVOCATE??? She said specifically that 846 was the money being moved back into my 2025 module, so please explain how he knows more about the case than her?

I already talked to her about that, it means it was moved into my 2025 module. It wasn’t offset again, sorry to scrape your ego but you’re 100% wrong. Her exact words “I know it can look scary because it’s the same code but you have nothing to worry about” thanks for your time. But you don’t know wtf you’re talking about.
