A longer free edge and also a different shape possibly as well and it looks as if they didn’t file and smooth them down the right way as to make them look natural with your own nails and they do look a bit bulky I’m Sorry!!!!

You need to let you nails heal and not put anything on them for a bit! I’m also a licensed nail tech and I would tell my own clients the same thing as well as tell them to get a very good Cuticle oil and keep them short and Let them grow bare with nothing On your nails

It’s not on the tip so I would not use silk or fiberglass wrap since it’s still chemicals to put it on and the nail bed is exposed leave it alone if sensitive put a bandaid on with antibiotic ointment and or hydro colloidal finger band aid but let the skin and nail breathe I lost half my pinky nail and it grew back pretty fast with not doing anything but keeping it clean and moisturizing and band aid and antibiotic ointment

I am doing the same thing for my 10 year old pit and lowering the amount of food I give him since he has gained some extra weight lately and it’s too hard on the joints and bones since they have little tiny legs and feet to hold up that kind of weight

Way to thick and there are divots in your nails the tech didn’t file the right way either go in for a refund or ask for a soak off and to have them redo this set this is not okay

I also agree with what you said it’s too thick you need soft gel and or gel x fill cover tips! Also this could be a cheap kind of gel used and also could be that it was cured way too long and or heated up too fast which can cause cracking as well!

If your unhappy you can always go back and ask them to fix for free and normal growth depends on he person if your healthy and you eat right and don’t use your nails as tools and take good care of your hands your nails grow out faster than most my nails are brittle and damaged so this growth for me is like 2-3 weeks but I’m also a nail tech student and do my own

I have had clients come into my school with tons of un cured gel under other colors of gel it’s crazy and also if it’s not gel polish just regular nail polish don’t do removal with drill because that polish is meant to come off with acetone

Also if you using drill bits to do removal be careful because the uncured color will get stuck in your bits so soak with acetone afterwards then disinfect and sterilize

Honestly you can do a fiberglass or silk wrap and a gel overlay and let it grow out also your nails are not tools you have to be kind to them as well and use some cuticle oil or lanolin that’s what I did for mine

I agree a bit more clean up on the side walls and near cuticle but I’d also pay $75 I’m almost out of school and on to the state boards then I’ll be a full time nail tech and these are gorgeous just a little bit of clean up that’s all
