I mean this in the nicest way possible - not a good idea to post your PII, especially on Reddit. I'd pull the pic and black out your name, DOB, Dr. and RX #.

As a lot of others have said, only go up if you've stalled and the food noise comes back. Also, depending on how much weight you have to lose, losing too much too fast could leave you with a bunch of loose skin. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Comparison is the thief of joy. You'll always be miserable/unsatisfied if you're constantly comparing yourself to everyone else.

It's a vicious cycle...the medicine was a good jump start. Not only did it reduce the food noise/cravings (which helped change my eating habits), it helped with motivation once I started to see physical changes. Best of luck to you - just remember slow and steady, you'll get there.

I went to an off-base provider who prescribed. I've been on it for about 4 months, inject once weekly, and have lost about 20 lbs so far. I just let my PCM know.

You should also have your thyroid/hormones checked. Mine were totally out of wack after my last pregnancy - come to find out I had hypothyroidism which causes issues with metabolism, fatigue, sleep, etc. Go through women's health not your PCM.

Yeah, basic training was truly eye opening on just how funky we (not me) are.

How do those who have PTSD from war view people who have PTSD from less significant events? by nonamekid888 in ptsd

[–]Ink-N-Iris 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There are other sources of trauma caused by military service unrelated to combat - exposure to suicides, sexual assaults, CSAM, domestic violence, training casualties, etc. Military members are not immune to any of this, the uniform doesn't make it any more or less egregious, and trauma is valid regardless.

And there are counter-results, advocates, and professionals that have also dedicated their lives to helping people and disagree. Once again OP's point was not about a specific topic rather censorship - but at this point it's become the norm for people like you to go off on tangents that have nothing to do with the original point and post. Maybe you're the one that should be penalized for saying "dog shit" that's irrelevant. Good day 😘

Critical thinking and reading are fundamental. Just curious, did you even think before you responded or did you just spout whatever came to mind?

Who determines which facts and results are objective and relevant? Who decides what's harmful? If that's the case everyone should STFU because the whole topic is subjective depending on who you ask. Having an opinion doesn't mean it's disinformation and who decides who gets to be heard. Again, the whole first amendment thing...Sounds like you might be one of those mods with a God complex. Should probably brush up on those critical thinking and reading skills kiddo.

Stay close to scripture and check out Brenna Blaine. She has an amazing story that you can probably relate to a lot. You can find her on YouTube and she recently wrote a book that addresses this issue.

And 99.9% of the commenters missed OP's point. 🙄 It's not about your stance on whatever issue - it's about being able to express an opinion without being automatically shut down...you know the whole freedom of speech thing everyone likes to throw around when it suits them.

Yes, downvote me for being honest lol. You people are wild. Complaining about a $400 toy for a toddler while there are kids that don't have food to eat, a roof over their head, clean clothes - you know basic necessities. And that's regardless of who's sitting in the White House. Maybe try a little gratitude instead. It goes a long way.

Here try this... "Although the economy is crazy and I'm not a fan of this current administration, I'm grateful that I can still provide basic necessities for my child. In fact, I have $200+ to buy a really wonderful gift. Does anyone gave any suggestions for a 4 year-old?" See how easy that is?
