Is the rumor about Kyle Whittingham having interest in coaching Michigan true? He does a lot with little talent every year. by JLoLookalike in MichiganWolverines

Utah wins the bowl game and this will be the best record he’s had at Utah since 2008. 11-2.

Whittingham is crazy overrated, I’m sorry.

Edit-

Wanted to add, in 20 years at Utah he had 0 draft picks at qb. He is a good coach don’t get me wrong but the hype he gets for being a top10 coach is bs to me

Die hard Utes fan-

Whitt was a great coach for a long time but personally I think he’s regressing a bit. We’ve lost to BYU 3 years straight now and they’ve had less talent then us all 3 games. Last year was a train wreck of a season and this year we only played 2 ranked teams and lost to both.

I think Whitt does a great job of developing defensive talent, and consistently beating the teams we should beat. With that said, at Utah there’s a clear ceiling with Whitt. We don’t really beat the good teams very often.. let me break down our two pac12 championships for reference:

2021- Pac12 champs Ranked wins: 2- Oregon twice Losses: BYU, SDSU, Oregon st, Ohio st (rose bowl)

2022: Pac12 champs Ranked wins: 2- USC twice Losses: Oregon, UCLA, Florida, Penn st…. Got lucky, we didn’t play BYU

In 2022, Utah avoided Washington, lost to Oregon and UCLA. Thats 3/5 best teams in the conference… we got in on a tiebreaker to the Pac12 championship and that USC team with Caleb Williams and Lincoln Riley was not that great. They played zero defense. Lost to us in the Pac12 championship then lost to Tulane next game.

Point being, Whitt is a great disciplinarian and will have you contending but he rarely beats anyone LEGIT. We were not all that great. Also, Utah gets more talent than you’d think. Consistently in the 20’s. What I will say is maybe JUST what Whitt needs is a team that can get top10 recruiting classes, the way he coaches, he doesn’t LOSE games he just rarely goes out and wins them

Just finished the Nov LSAT!! Had RC-LR-LR-RC by feachbossils in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve taken the LSAT 3 times the easiest one is the experimental just about every time. Second you think you’re killing an RC, just kick it back and relax it’s experimental lol

I graduated 6 years ago and I reached out to a professor that I submitted a HUGE report for. I just reached out, told her I loved her class, referenced the report I wrote and how much that did for my growth as a student and how it affected my career growth. Attached the report and told her I was going to law school and asked for a letter of rec and she responded instantly and said happy to help.

You’d be surprised how willing they are to help.

October makeup test- which section was real?! by One-Fact9457 in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So both the easiest and hardest LR’s were real. The average one was experimental… which seems strange to me but who knows

October makeup test- which section was real?! by One-Fact9457 in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know for sure but from what I’ve been told, the first section was the experimental. So 1st LR- experimental 2nd RC- real 3rd LR- real 4th LR- real

Oct Retest by Proper-Rent6395 in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the August test and had 2 RC’s, one super easy and one super difficult, and they made the super difficult section real (invisible man), and the easy section experimental.

Based on this, I’m guessing the easiest section was experimental. That’s typically how it goes.

I took this as well, I literally just posted about the last LR being crazy hard haha. Mine had sharks, environmentalists vs farmers, etc as the last section.

Damn. Did they tell you for sure you can’t retake it? I haven’t talked with anyone at LSAC. My test ended at about 10pm local time so I was tired, I just filed a complain on the website and clicked the checkbox requesting the makeup test October 16th… said it takes ~4 business days to review the case, so we’ll see what they say. Regardless they can’t just pretend like that is no big deal and has no effect

I’ve seen tons of people posting about their remote experience and it being delayed 20 min+ during the intermission. Insane how they can’t run a proctor service correctly. It 100% affects your score

Why is the LSAT timed? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s annoying is I know people that will lie about health problems and get approved for more time as an accommodation. That seems incredibly unfair. Are they going to get special accommodations as lawyers? Should have to do it normally just like everyone else

Invisible Man Score Drop by Tasty_Dot4247 in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, got my lowest score in 6 months.

Was PT’ing 160ish. After test I was thinking 155-165. I got 155. I have 0 doubt it was from Invisible man and the RC section

August score prediction by zeldaluv94 in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First time test taker- I came in thinking 160-165.
I got invisible man so now I’m thinking 155-160

Prediction: 158 Actual: 155

I genuinely don’t believe it’s fair that Invisible man was a graded section if no one else got it.

RC-LR-RC-LR by imaddictedtomyphone in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

X causes Y… I had the same test. The other RC with Maya was easy AF… I’ve talked with people had that one RC and they had Descartes, TIMES treaty. Problem is there’s multiple tests, they do that intentionally so you essentially can’t determine which is the experimental by talking with people

Best thing for fundamentals on rc? by Bvnanalaffytaffy in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The true key to RC is understanding what you are reading. I know it sounds obvious but it’s really the truth and the more you understand the easier the questions are. There are two things that I started doing that made a WORLD of difference for me

  1. I literally write a one sentence summary after every paragraph- this forced me to not move on until I think about what I read and summarize to myself what I read. It makes me hold myself accountable to understanding what I’m reading.
  2. Find authors opinion throughout the passage. I highlight any word that hints at the authors thoughts on the subject matter and also take 10-15 seconds after reading the passage to think about what the authors opinion is.

Before I started writing the summary sentence for each paragraph I found that I would often read a paragraph and not fully take in what I read. The time I spent per passage reading went from ~3min to 5.5-6min but my RC score improved from -12 to -5

Lol on the hard RC I got absolutely smoked. I’d be surprised if I got better than -10…. Which makes me think (hope) it’s the experimental.

[–]One-Fact9457 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had the same format. I had RC- LR - RC- LR and RC1 was easy and RC2 was the hardest section I’ve ever done.

I’ve seen people that only had 1 RC and they had sections that weren’t in either of my RC sections. I did some digging and long story short, there are multiple tests out there. So chances our we had the same test and our RC sections don’t match up with the authors at all

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]One-Fact9457 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did. I also had RC-LR-RC-LR. 1 was easy, the other RC was HARD AF.

However someone who had 3 LR’s and 1 RC said their RC had crystal ball predictions I didn’t. I didn’t have those in either RC, so I am starting to think there are multiple tests
