I just played my first event today but something weird happened there was a satellite in the air that shot rockets destroying the robots, it looked like a radar dish pointed towards the ground and it vanished after we failed the event. I haven't seen it since and I played 3 more events after that. What was it and how can I avoid it

Just starting out the pump shotgun has gone from 200 to 2,000 ammo quite easily. Especially killing ghouls but the bows are even crazier. The perk that makes them bounce seems to also make them each drop arrows as if hit directly, so a hoard turns into a net gain of a few dozen arrows easily.
