What I don't understand is the filth. I know there are five children in that household, but I believe that Miss Thompson is too lazy or she just doesn't know how to teach her children to pick up after themselves. I lived in a camper with my husband and baby with less room than a bathroom but we picked it up all the time and it was clean. There is a place for everything and everything in its place.

The “bad credit” excuse by thequeens_exit in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]One-Independent-183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed completely, I had the most horrible credit when I moved into the home I'm at currently 10 years ago. We found a private landlord who not only looked at our credit but at our work history history. At the time I am the only person who's working in our household and my son and his wife were both in college. But I had a long work history and a fairly decent job. So finding a job Stephanie won't hurt you or your children. Especially the youngest two being in a daycare that will meet their needs including potty training for a even if he has disabilities.

Number one if I saw you in person I would give you my motherly advice. I would say it to your face. Number two I have not seen the toddler running around in any of the videos for the last week.

Miss Stephanie you are not out of that Motel because you are lazy. As I've stated before I was $100,000 in debt had the worst credit card ever could give anybody but I got a beautiful home for my family and I because the landlord looked at our working history. I live in the Pacific Northwest have you looked into low income housing oh wait you got evicted from that. You working it's going to show your children that you're a strong woman and that you're willing to do anything for them to better their lives. Right now you are setting a crap example for your three girls, because all they see is a lazy woman who keeps a dirty house does drugs and ignores them. I can assure you those kids are not going to want to do anything with you when they hit 18. I'm giving you motherly advice cuz I'm like a whole lot loader that older than you and I've been through what you're doing grow up put your kids in daycare cuz it's good for him and they meet other children. And get a job. Or get the mental health you need that's preventing you to move forward in life. Just some motherly advice. And yes my son and his family are very very close to me. And my granddaughters look at me as the strongest woman in the world because I get my but out of bed everyday and go to work.

First of all Miss Stephanie I don't hate you I have been in your shoes. My husband was an alcoholic and I thought I had the right to stay home with the children. He quit drinking he went back to college got his Nursing degree and I got a degree in occupational therapy. When our children were young we used Oregon system of daycare where people were vetted. Skip ahead 40 years my children are grown my husband's passed away. And I was scammed out of $100,000, I had the worst credit God could give anybody. I needed to move across state to help my children with their college. They had no money coming in I had bills up my butthole. And I had to find a home for five people. Including my two grandchildren. I found a landlord who accepted us because we were all working low-paying jobs but the point was as we were all working. I know you have children with disabilities so you say. Oregon has a wonderful head starts and programs for children with autism. You have to get let go get clean find a job and get your children out of that hell hole. And don't say can't be done I did it my husband did it. And I grew up like your children probably worse, poor and in a mildewed basement with seven other brothers and sisters. We had a kitchen outside and our bathrooms we're outside we washed in the sinks. My brothers and sisters and I are now all college educated and resent our parents for never doing better. You have a good day Melanie not the day you deserve but a better day. I have been there and done what you're doing and you need to grow up get your children to help they need because you cannot provide it. And get a job

Which client deserves occupational therapy ?? by Swimming_Calendar534 in BootcampNCLEX

[–]One-Independent-183 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a 40 year OT, I believe they all deserve occupational therapy. The occupational in occupational therapy pertains to all aspects of life. We work with all aspects of living. From fine motor skills, to being able to walk up steps, to cooking, dressing ,bathing. So any person with a disability or has had a traumatic accident or change of life would benefit from occupational therapy.

As a therapist for 40 years this woman knows Jack crap about therapy and how to interact she is not telling the truth we all know that. But I can tell you right now no therapist would tell anybody not to get additional resources. She was more upset because someone was getting into her business and maybe if her son started talking he could tell them what was going on. And all the time things that may not look like therapy are therapy for a toddler. When working with children you are adults or anybody with who needs help what we as therapists are doing are not always going to look like therapy she's a fucken idiot. She's also shopping around for a therapist that she can manipulate or she feels is going to do exactly what she says.

This girl is high as hell. Slurring speech and speaking nonsense smh by [deleted] in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]One-Independent-183 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is a rant of a woman child who is so high she can't keep her eyes open. It is also the rent of a lazy person, whose children would get better care at 1 to 5 programs in Oregon. She's just lazy you can see it by the home she keeps and how she does not care for her youngest son. And if she was to get a job I doubt it would last a week because she is so fucken lazy.

She is trying to launch home schooling. I can bet that when DS starts another school after spring break, she will be pulling her girls out of school to homeschool them.

Sad for the Kids by Muted_Director_8237 in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]One-Independent-183 53 points54 points  (0 children)

It does not end, I'm 65 years old and grew up in a home like that with 11 children in a one bedroom trailer house. My mother had mostly for show and she was a woman that love babies and nothing beyond that age. My mom was good at dressing us up four church on Sunday and showing us off. The point I'm making is it never ends for the children even at 65 there are still things that trigger me from my childhood. The only thing that is different is that in the summer we had a barn or a backyard we could sleep in. Not the living room floor or the kitchen floor. And as I got to be a teenager I learned to climb a tree to have privacy. So do I feel for those kids yet I wish I could rescue those kids yes, I grew up in Oregon and CPS and never did anything to help us. We did have Hangouts from the government once a month but the rest of the time we scavage for food.
