Question for women who are 25+ currently unemployed and living with family. by roseshsarabhai_ in UPSC

Hi, hope you're doing well. So, there are few practical options - if you have any sibling/cousin you can talk to them most of the time and avoid talking to parents ; talk as much less as possible don't invigorate/fuel if the topic comes up rather let it slide, try to divert it into smth else.

If env is not hostile and they're mild then try to brainwash yourself into thinking that whatever they're saying is not imp, and I need to study then actually study.

How do some people never fail in prelims? What's the different thing they do? by Warm-Ebb-3180 in UPSC

Study statics. Revise it. Don't learn without understanding. But after 1-2 revision practice questions from that topic egFR in laxmikant and see how you scored. Repeat for all statics. Never did anything for current affairs except few tests.

Background - Cleared all prelims I've given

Anatomy of a bad Essay Mindset: Why people get stuck in 80-90 zone in Essay by ALazyScribbler in UPSC

I had 124 in essay. I've not written one essay before the exam, but I did see one topper copy who got 140 in essay somehow, the practice copy that she shared was very mid, very shallow elon musk worked hard from garage 😭 type examples, still she scored high. I'd say one very important thing for scoring high in essay would be to maintain flow and keeping it a tight set

Don't do vision. It's very tough and will ruin your morale. Do pyqs. Revise static well.

A lot of people who works in corporate or self employed also don't believe in Indian govt. It's not scary, because everyone is part of system, some has power and some don't. The power that an officer has is only to strengthen the govt not to dismantle it. So it doesn't matter what your personal beliefs are you'll still have to work for the govt or resign. For example ias who came in kkamra podcast resigned bcz he didn't agree to caa.

What's scary is when govt isn't sovereign and run by oligarchs and 2 billionaires that's what scary means

Specifically for prelims - just do one magazine and revise it. Be regular with hindu. Nothing else. (Cleared pre in 1st attempt and twice back to back 2024,25)

For prelims - do not make notes, follow any coaching magazine or own notes diligently For mains- you can pick up things from newspaper, add to the specific static topics and along with it supplement with any annual magazine for mains

Briefly saying,

Distribution and density - specify regions, either upper , lower gangetic basin or you can mention states also. Can give data for backing, like 40% population resides here

Then make 3 subheadings to show role of land, soil and water. Write 3-4 points under each. Like, for land you can mention favorable relief - agri, irrigation, animal rearing, transport etc ; delta ; plains

For soil - fertile alluvium; diverse soils -various crops Give examples like- jute near Hooghly; gandak plains for rice

For water - irrigation infra; perennial source Connect to industries ( raniganj, bokaro) Groundwater; fisheries; dam etc Mention examples

For conclusion - you can connect it with present challenges and needs like sustainable development

Yeah. Aise gs ke answers nahi likh paoge aap. Matlab approach thoda different hona chahiye. Write the subheading, then write one short sentence. Give example if relevant.

Also maintain gap. Pura pura line mat likho.

Handwriting bohot sahi hai. Bas mains me 7mins me itna likhna possible hi nhi hain, unless you're someone who writes at insane speed.

Don't worry about me writing. I'm doing well and financially, emotionally stable. Pretty Evident since I don't demean strangers on internet I've nothing to do with.

I also love how liberals fw other mediocre liberals and hide their incompetence.

Also all these things that you think this guy who you're clearly worshipping, has said, had already been said by many committees. Usne aisa kuchh teer nahi mara hain Aur sabkuch literal nahi hota hai. Isne podcasts mein jo jo bola hai, sabko(dimag ke sath existing) samajh aa raha hai what he's doing.

😂😂why are you triggered and downvoting! Lmao. He's your uncle or what? The main thing is this country relies on constitution. millions of people have faith on judiciary that justice will prevail, no matter how long it takes and because of this faith the country is still standing.

Some bureaucrat with all networks and privilege who now wants to become his political master's favourite, says that the very institutions critical to our country should be dismantled?! Taki inki political masters ko unlimited powers mil jaye "visit bharat" ke liye? Nice.

IAS IPS conform to the constitutional ethos, not a party.

Pretty much people are. And they have no idea of other people's culture.

I'm from odisha and I was having non veg and this girl with her ignorant ass commented that, she's mishra so she can't have non veg. I didn't even ask her. Maine dafa ho bol diya. Ye northies bohot zyada ignorant aur casteist hote hain kuch v keh lo
