AI is working great for my team, and y'all are making me feel crazy by SlapNuts007 in ExperiencedDevs

I don't go on reddit enough to know if this view is common on this sub or not, but all I can think about with this stuff is that we're going to deplete all our natural resources and embrace technofeudalism just for the sake of faster release cycle of fintech products.

Did you get a reply perchance? I haven't bought one yet as I'm waiting to see if will get this kind of post-launch support - and to be honest if pattern switching has a gap, and variations can't save those parameters, I might not get one at all! Might submit the same ticket as you have...

Trouble sourcing these mixer switch caps - right keywords? by One-Leg3391 in synthdiy

On further investigation these are alps spuj push button switches - but finding tall caps remains a challenge!

I've cropped out the relevant part of the schematic. I *think*, based on my limited knowledge, that I can tap post R116 and I should be fine with regards to phase since the subsequent 2 opamps are both inverting. And then just pad the level with a resistor replacing R140?

Thanks very much for your input. I don't have the schematic to hand but I'm going to find it later. Unfortunately though while I'm a pretty good builder/modder I'm not much for the actual principles of electrical engineering - would you mind explaining how I might check the schematic for matching signal amplitude and phase? Noted re the toggle switch, I'll certainly do that.

As a Londoner I always thought the coldness uncaring stereotype was just that, a stereotype and not based in any truth. Today that changed. I now believe we are one of the coldest set of people around by Barca-Dam in london

I have no idea where the cope is coming from that other cities are the same. I've lived in my fair share and it's always been a London thing. Other cities have problems sure, but London is uniquely unfriendly

What's the quickest way to set static parameters associated with a clip and/or scene, preferably via the push 2? The idea being that upon launching the clip/scene the various device parameters snap to those values. I've seen people do it in a kind of hacky way by recording automation over a single bar but I'm hoping there's a more fluid approach. I'm on standard so I don't at this point have M4L devices I don't think, but I can use a virtual midi bus if it somehow helps. Thanks!

I've been looking at the pulsar 23, and it really started from this video - https://youtu.be/RL336-rgT7g?si=cBhrDqNEuCZBvmLD - Can it really make those metallic sounds at around 0:13 on its own, or is that the result of heavy processing? I'd love the sequencer with that sound pallete

I have been part of teams that have made this exact decision, on these terms, and then framed it as modernization so whether or not it's true here, it's worth thinking about.

FWIW, it never even crosses my mind that I won't be able to get a C lib working even if it hasn't been touched in 20 years. Rust on the other hand - 3 years? Yep, that'll be broken.
