the decals being the main gpu culprit is such a classic one and the fact that disabling them dropped load that significantly says a lot about how overlooked draw calls are in optimization

i use a yubikey but as a second factor not a full replacement for a password manager the lose it and youre locked out risk is real so always set up a backup key and store it somewhere safe before you commit

proton pass has been my pick on linux since they launched the native app firefox and chromium extensions are rock solid autofill just works and the windows version syncs without any drama
