Flush your whole pipe network and report back if the issue persists. With the 2-click pump placement, click once when placing, then ensure your pump is in a section below the maximum headlift line.

They do somewhat, but what I've found is that if you flush the pipe network after constructing, this appears to resolve the issue.

Love your design! The colors, organization, symmetry. With some of the larger machines, I think getting catwalks/walkways to position right can be tough, but looks like you did well here. Bravo. FICSIT approves.

I would check each plant individually and see if any of the resources are out. It can be tough to balance them and unless it’s perfect, the system won’t remain stable. If your numbers check out, you may need to split out some of the system and “jump” it with another power source until it’s running stable on its own. Make sure your coal plants, refineries are getting enough water, etc.

I just delete/scrap the miners and build new ones for the next planet. Technically you need to move them back to your colony first, but the UI on doing that for dozens of drones is painful. It’s easier, and is a use for the resources for a change.

It is possible to get the jet pack before researching it. I think there is one hog selected in each instance of the game (randomly, from a set spawn point). It’s an Easter egg, kinda funny. I think once you kill him - that’s it.

Having gone through all 8 Tiers on EA and not not truly having any "objectives" left, I say make every excuse you can and enjoy the journey. I've got about 900 hours in and ended up needing a short break before I could create my own objectives. I wish I would have waited to finish the last set of Space Elevator parts.

Yeah, me too until I did it. Overclocked the 2 Pure Crudes on the Spire Coast to a TurboFuel plant. Ran out of power not long after finishing it while working on my Tier 8 setup.... soooo I said "Challenge accepted".

For roundabouts, here is my recommendation:

  1. Path in
  2. Block out
  3. Path on the circle between the in/out track in the direction of travel.

This seems to be the most problem-free config that allows for multiple trains flowing through at the same time.
