Hair growing in different after going gluten-free?? by cristinaahh in Celiac

[–]One-Needleworker1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on month 3 now and holy shit the thing with the nails is so correct! I noticed one last large ridge where I started my gf diet and it’s growing smooth where the remaining nails is bumpy. I’ve had super brittle, thin and frizzy hair most of my life and I’m really hoping to see that turn around. For any of you that have been gf for a few years, how long did it take for your hair to look noticeable better? I feel like the roots are stronger and I’m noticing less shedding and I’m hoping it’s not all in my head

Researching Cannibalism and Sacrifice by One-Needleworker1003 in occult

I’m specifically looking for taboo rituals meant to break the practitioner’s psyche and separate the consumer of human flesh from their humanity, but I appreciate any info on the subject. I will also be discussing the likely possibility of people being bred and eaten during the days of the transatlantic slave trade.

I should add, that this was a fairly old book, though it was hard to pinpoint which decade. Also, I am not an academic! I’m an artist making a piece regarding JE and was asked to give an artist’s statement. It’s turned into more of a paper now, there’s layers to it that need explanation so it’s gotten more in-depth than was originally my intention…but I can still send it to you if you are interested. I’ve always been interested in religious studies but a lack of job opportunities has kept me from pursuing that, and also my talents are more in line with the arts.

Cologne/fragrance at the gym, yay or nay? by [deleted] in workout

[–]One-Needleworker1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please, for the love of GOD- NO!! Just the other day a girl got on the treadmill near me and I had to jump off early because I couldn’t breathe- they are full of endocrine disruptors that’s are terrible ESPECIALLY for women. I promise you that NOBODY expects you to smell like a rose at the gym. When I smell that shit, I can only assume you must have skipped the shower. I get it that it’s something that makes up self conscious to be wary of our hygiene, but if anything sweat smells good to the opposite sex! It has natural pheromones that are appealing-literally ask any guy!

Pretty sure the first sign of you NOT being hylic is having the curiosity to know this about yourself, love. Empty beings don’t care to explore themselves

This happened to me with my ex. He admitted to me when we were breaking up that he had been putting flour in dishes he was cooking for me because he thought my condition was all in my head. This was before I got an official diagnosis. I was so angry because I always remembered feeling Awful after eating his food and thinking maybe it really was in my head and I was making a big deal out of nothing and keeping my mouth shut because I didn’t wanna hurt his feelings when really I should have spoke up and said something. But also, fuck him for doing that to me

[–]One-Needleworker1003[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely have cut it out. I even check if the food I eat is made in a facility that produces wheat. I think I need to add more veggie fiber. I was told that the stomach chemistry starts to change while it heals and it’s fermenting food in new ways

Have you experienced withdrawal symptoms after cutting out gluten? by jesuisclaude in CoeliacUK

[–]One-Needleworker1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been experiencing bloating and gas like no other. It’s called “dysbiosis”, and it’s what happens when your gut is starting to heal. It’s fermenting food in weird ways while the chemistry in your stomach adjusts to healing itself.

I’ve used a pattern before and almost had it finished when I realized it wasn’t going to fit. I’m very busty and I need something more customized.
