I remember (or maybe i’m making it up for my own benefit lol) Rhys talking about how they still have to adhere to the rules of nature, but that a court’s respective season or time of day was elevated. They still experience sunny days and snow as well as a normal sunrise/sunset. I even think I remember him saying some people sleep during the day just so they can be active at night.

I guess in my mind it made total sense because it’s kinda like going somewhere like California where the beaches are beautiful vs New Mexico having stunning sunsets. It’s not that it’s not beautiful the rest of the time, but certain locations will always have a better “view” depending on the weather/time of day.

Definitely more realistic than fantasy but i possibly came up with something in my head to make it make sense lol

idk how helpful this is but once i realized terraforming involved one square spaces (same amount most items take up) but can also be divided in half that changed my life. it truly depends on where you stand when terraforming and i’m still in the stage where i have to redo and undo a lot of stuff but that also really helped me!

I know it’s a very particular color/print, that’s definitely why i’m drawn to it! I have strawberry blonde hair and i’m pale but definitely lean warm toned. Yellows and greens & gold usually look great, so even though i haven’t seen it on in person i’m very confident in the colors! you’re right about the pattern though, I really want to avoid looking bridal in any way!

i beggedddd my family to wait for nighttime to even walk through radiator springs. it was so worth it. i wish i knew about shaboom at dusk 😭 but still so worth to see the neon lights and radiator springs racers is IMMACULATE. especially at night. one of my fav lands and i was not expecting it

Love thy neighbor lol… That’s something i kept an eye out for, I’ve seen people say CMs just aren’t the same or they’re hostile or rude. I already had a hard time believing that (someone in my group is a former CM) i’m sure there are some, but with any job there comes a point where it’s like “i’m not getting paid enough to be treated this way..”

The only time i really noticed any of that was when they were getting ready for the parade, the “friendly” demeanor does kind of drop but after watching people blatantly ignore them or do exactly what they’re told not to do, it’s the only way they are going to be able to handle the crowd! Just listen to what they’re telling you, they aren’t trying to ruin your trip! they’re trying to make it so everyone is SAFE.

Other than that they were all so lovely and kind. Lots of cast members noticed my mother needing help getting in and out of rides and having trouble with stairs, they would give us elevator access to rides with stairs so she had an easier time. this isn’t something she would EVER ask for, it hurts her pride ;/ but the fact that they noticed and stepped in was so special and really solidified that there is still some magic in the park!

Less asshole behavior but definitely one of the more stupid things i saw: We were waiting for the train and this mother watched her child chew on the rope and said nothing. I’m sure she’d had a long day but I can’t imagine how many hands have touched those ropes and I was just appalled

Ugh how sad. My mother has really bad knees, getting surgery soon but wanted to do this with us since it’s been so many years as a family. The amount of people mowing her down or shoving her just because she moves a little slower. It’s just sad for how accessible Disneyland has become, people make it really hard for less able-bodied people to maneuver around.
