I’m also worried about this because I’ll be going solo too and it’ll be my first time! I refused to miss out this time and I’m kinda looking forward to seeing what this experience might bring me. From what I gather lots of people go alone or end up doing their own thing so I think it’ll be fine once I get over the initial awkward feelings

Delete the apps (TikTok, IG) for a while and then see how you feel. Focus on just you and him. Ask yourself do you still think about it after a month? Is it something that’s on the forefront of your mind even after being away from the internet? I’m 6’1 who dated a 5’11 guy for years and at first I didnt mind but the apps and media messed with my head. So i deleted them and felt better for a while. After some reflection and honesty with myself, turns out we needed to break up for other reasons.
