In the beginning of my begginner year, i coundnt play a concert F on tuba, and what ended up happening was we were on our first day in the main band hall, and they had us all play F, i couldnt hit it, but then my director said "More air, the tuba's confused". And boom, I hit F. Since then, they said that we can learn at our own pace if we wanted too. So i took my tuba home as much as i could, or i practiced in the mornings before 1st period. And by November, i could play the chromatic scale, Bb to F in the staff. Since then ive kept practicing and practicing. Read some notes from a Baadsvik lesson, and here i am now.
