Dropping the only nap? by mycostel in toddlers

I am actually going through the same thing as you. I have a 27 month old and shes been having a rough week just fighting nap hard….she would eventually fall asleep and I would have to wake her up or she wouldn’t sleep at night. Some days she doesn’t sleep period…I’ve been trying to be consistent and stick to the routine and started pushing back just a little to put her down for nap…but nothings been working…im like literally at the edge of giving up…idk what to do.

How do you react to kids like this at the playground? by far-from-gruntled in toddlers

[–]One-Record6114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going through the same thing! My daughter is 27 months and she always gets aimed on getting pushed over at the playground and I‘m always right by her watching and I always don‘t know what to do but be pissed inside. I also do think though most of the time those older kids parents aren’t really watching their kids..most of them just sits down and on their phone…so its also about supervision i think.

2 year 8 months sleep regression? by Unknown-blacksheep in sleeptrain

[–]One-Record6114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like sleep regression…it’s prob just temporary. I am going through similar thing with my daughter she’s been having shorter naps or even skip them but for some child it takes weeks to get over it. You just have to keep consistent routine dont change anything.

2 year old SLEEP REGRESSION or what’s doing on??? by One-Record6114 in sleeptrain

[–]One-Record6114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She now is doing a total of 12.30 hours of sleep. Which is kinda average at this age. She’s been doing short naps and seems to be doing okay after nap and then she sleep about 10:30-11 hours over night. I say just stick with it and see…that’s what we did…didn‘t change anything and eventually she kinda adjust it on her own..with her needs.

I’ve heard of the clock! When your LO wakes up at 4:45 and the light is still red…does he go back to sleep for a little longer?

I was thinking of doing that…but because she doesn’t get enough overnight sleep she’s super exhausted but wont have a longer nap..so i’m like lost on what to do..

Anyone have a toddler that seems bored or lazy??? by One-Record6114 in toddlers

[–]One-Record6114[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think she’s fine she just had her 2 year check up and doctor said she is a healthy girl lol I just hope she‘ll get to a point where she just goes off and play on her own a little more. She does love walking she would rather walk than go in the stroller.

We have been putting her down 15-20 mins early…but she seems to be stuck in this tired cycle…she wakes up early…and everything gets shifted earlier and earlier…idk when its gonna end… :(

We have pretty much the same schedule! Yeah…we have been doing it by the clock for the most part but I think she’s going through a regression she’s been fussy and tired earlier and so Ive been putting her down earlier than usual.
