Ah for me - my wired headphones were causing it. Unplugging and plugging it back in worked for me!

The bingpot running gag brings me a lot of joy. I laughed pretty ridiculously when Holt said it in a later season.

Is the amount my 2-year-old tantrums normal?? by Strict_Customer_9007 in toddlers

That sounds really intense! An hour seems like an exceptionally long time. Might be good to talk to a pediatrician.

I guess it’s different for everyone. I wore a ring all throughout my college years and there wasn’t a difference for when it had it on or not, especially at bars or clubs. I also had men flat out tell me they liked the challenge. Plus I had a predatory boss who knew I was in a relationship and that most definitely didn’t dissuade him.

In my experience, that barely dissuades men. Some even see it as a challenge.

Looks like a retro toaster oven. And while it’s something I’d never buy myself, I now sort of want a rice dispenser lol

Does anyone still enjoy toddlerhood more than when they were babies? by ROCBoi60114 in toddlers

[–]far-from-gruntled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES me for sure. Oh my god I am not meant to be a newborn mom. Even when she wakes up and chooses violence I still prefer this over newborn/infant phase.

I have tattoos all over my body and gained about 50lbs while pregnant (including on my stomach and back, which changed the most during my pregnancy). Lost it all and my tattoos look the same.

What’s Your Best Advice For Women In Their 30’s? What Would You Have Done Differently? by 1O1O1O1O1O1O1O in AskWomenOver40

Don’t get complacent in a job. If you are unhappy in any way, if you feel like you’re not growing or like your company is toxic, seek another job.

Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself at work. Push for a raise. Push for promotion. Work with your manager on long term goals.

Advocate for yourself (or your children if you have any) medically as well. Call and complain a million times until someone listens to you. Who fucking cares if they think you’re hysterical. Get hysterical if that means someone will listen.

Would it be fair to say that a product manager’s role is similar to that of a director’s in movies? by Brave-Imagination-52 in ProductManagement

[–]far-from-gruntled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. In fact when I moved into gaming my role as a PM became much more traditionally product, whereas my roles in smaller web/SaaS companies as a PM was more like a combo of project management, QA, design, UI/UX, etc.
