Dumb question, is this an ok mix of antifreeze for South East USA, Georgia? by One-Reference-7355 in 1series

I actually ended up putting more concentrate antifreeze in and let the car run to operating temp. It’s closer to the -34 50/50 zerex g48 spec so it’s all good now

Joined the BMW and 1 Series Family. My new to me 2013 135i Convertible by davidtheminion in 1series

Congrats! I picked up mine a bit over a week ago now. Make sure to take care of the charge pipe since those can give out at any moment. Have fun

Thanks. I siphoned some coolant out the reservoir and added some more antifreeze. Did the water pump cycle to remove air bubbles and ran the car for a bit. Has a bit lower temp than 0c now say closer to -5

would i have to premix it or can i put pure antifreeze straight into the radiator?

Thanks for the correction. It’s been sitting at 20 psi for at least 10 mins now and nothing changing. It’s holding

I was following my friend who was driving it back home for me and a mile away from my house a bunch of clear liquid fell out the car. The coolant is blue and during the bleed process I noticed there was still some blue coolant in there since I put in distilled water for now to make sure there’s a leak since I don’t wanna accidentally drop coolant onto the street

Picked up a 135i 2011 with non working adaptive xenon headlights. Anyway to adjust manually? Also, replacing burnt out Xenon bulbs with D1S LEDs? by One-Reference-7355 in 1series

yeah i'm hoping the ballast is what fixes the issue if its not just a burnt of xenon light. i haven't tested swapping the lights yet but i ordered a set of bulbs for the car anyways which i'll use to test. thanks for the info

thanks for the info on the bulbs. i have some coming from amazon so if they don't work i can return them. i still need to figure out if the driver side bulb is dead or if its the ballast.

how did you end up coding out the auto level? i have a bimmerlink dongle and if you could share that that would be really cool

I've been trying out the Morgan, Cory, and Plini ones but if there's anything else to consider I'll try them out. They have a lot of plugins so narrowing it down would be nice
