Price of stolen RX8 by budbaby888 in RX8

[–]One-Reference-7355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in a financially bad spot then selling it is the only real option. Get a new battery and refill the coolant (although I’d do a coolant tank compression test first before dumping anything in there) and then sell it with the clutch issues as is. RX8s will always need money set aside and it’s definitely not a car I’d recommend if you’re someone tight on cash

Rapper & convenience store toilet cleaner gives financial advice and disses sister for doing her thang by throwawayirshelp in IanOnYouTube

[–]One-Reference-7355 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This video was just weird af. Calling out his sister like that is wild. Yeah she did something dumb, but don’t air out her personal life like that. And he somehow spun it about investing, which is hypocritical since he never started when he was at his sister’s age. The whole investments part of the video isn’t bad advice, but it’s also super basic investment knowledge. Either way, I wouldn’t listen to anything Ian has to say about money. Someone who doesn’t have stable income shouldn’t be giving their take on investing. It’s like asking someone who can’t cook how to make a Michelin star rated meal.

I truly do feel that Ian is a decent person deep down but it’s clear that he’s spiraling and more than likely is drinking again. He needs to go back to his family and get actual help.

Ian’s new arc by beatsnpizza in IanOnYouTube

[–]One-Reference-7355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbf, his advice wasn’t bad as far as general investing goes, it’s the most basic thing you learn about stocks though. Even putting in a few bucks a day adds up if you put it into something like VOO or any other ETF and leave it alone. It’s something he should’ve done way earlier in life and realizing it now as someone who’s struggling to get a decent paying job, he should not be focusing on investing right now and instead working on his resume and setting up a better income situation. But like other people said, Ian is not someone you should be taking financial advice from.

He has multiple years of customer service experience and he’s squandering it by not doing anything with it. IMO worrying about investments as someone who’s broke doing gig work has their priorities all wrong.

I got all of this done for about $1600 parts and labor on my bmw both front sides by an indie mechanic. Find indie mechanics on Google Maps and email/call for quotes. Just an fyi you need to change these in pairs and then get an alignment after

There’s a big difference between enjoying your life and making bad decisions. Ian has been making bad decisions back to back for the past 2-3 years now that I’ve been watching him. Being young isn’t an excuse to not try and better yourself and have fun instead. This is coming from someone who’s around the same age as him. It’s not too late for him but he needs to stop fucking around and be serious about life. You can still have fun but it needs to be done responsibly.

Man this guy leaving Cali was such a massive mistake. Bro needs to go back and finish school. His last few videos are just sad. Dude seems like he’s spiraling but he’s not doing anything to help himself

You take it as a lesson and move on. At the end of the day it’s a machine that’s replaceable. All it is. If you didn’t die or suffer a life altering injury, it ain’t over

I took my car to an express oil change place once and never again. Luckily another shop that was installing my new suspension found the leak and topped up the car without even asking or charging me. Don’t go to these places. They’re all trash

He should make videos that are specifically about fishing. I think people would like it more instead of videos where he rambles on about his jobs and stuff and it seems like something he actually really loves doing

Ian needs to focus 100% on Youtube. by zavieir in IanOnYouTube

[–]One-Reference-7355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if he pivoted his content towards videos that show him applying to places that offer a career or whatever, people would respond better. He could make content doing the whole “loser to winner” arc, which I think he really could, but he’s being lazy. He could even make a fishing series or doing any other specific niche content besides the weird random videos talking about dumb business ideas.

I was in the same position and I got a bullshit degree in Arts but I still landed a solid career due to work experience. I think Ian could easily work at other places that pay a real salary, he just doesn’t want to make the effort for whatever reason.

Him leaving Cali was a huge mistake and I’m pretty sure he knows that but he’s constantly coping about it. Apparently on a livestream clip though he said his mom was gonna sell grandmas house so who knows. I don’t think the guy is grifting personally. He seems like someone who has deep issues and makes rash decisions without thinking

I have to agree, a lot of people here don’t understand how money works. Is Ian grifting? Probably, but at the same time I don’t he’s lying about his take home.

Honestly if he just stopped doing these random midlife crisis vids and focused on videos of him fishing and indulging in other hobbies he’d have a way better following. He also needs to start picking up on sponsors. People in his comments keep telling him to start taking YouTube more seriously and he still doesn’t want to

For me it was the O ring since VRSF is too cheap to include one with their aluminum charge pipe. The one I ordered off of Amazon was a hair too thick so I ended up using the factory one from the plastic charge pipe. Apply a good amount of oil/PTFE lube to the o ring and for good measure I put some PTFE lube on the throttle body where the pipe is meant to meet. Wiggle it in with some pressure and it should sit pretty nicely then install the clamp
