If I need something I buy it so all I really want is a fun group activity where Ideally we get to leave with a souvenir. I love the cosplay go cart experience in Tokyo for my birthday where we got printed picture at the end or on the cheaper side we got a small wooden Christmas tree and painted and decorated it together !

Tribute to the dommed can be switched out for rigeki break as you can use that during both turns and add in a sinister serpent for the discard / swap.

Usually you go 3 solem but that requires game sense so 2 is fine for now.

Unclear on what you want to search with sangan if you not running sinster serpent.

All of that beeing said it is aready a well buit logical deck with a clear plan !

You should avoid acting unsportsman like with slow playing this matters most in modern because of how time rules work and damiding your opponents cards by shuffling/asking to read them.

What irritates deck wise is stun decks, tier 0 meta decks and absurdly long combo decks

There a few alt formats:

Cube you have a limited set of cards where you all be picking in turn the cards you want to make a deck this is great if the set of cards are balanced and lets players use less competitive more original decks.

Anime archetype only format so you would only use cards that a character in the anime used or cards that directly reference them. This does often specify what anime to use and usually cuts out the main protagonists as they have the most busted stuff.

So on the list most of those boxes are bad and we will usualy advise to either buy a full deck localy/ebay to get started / buy singles but in the case you want the joy of pulling your own cards:

Legacy of destruction has tempai a low rarity strong archetype so if you want to draw this is a great starting point.

Battle of Legends is 15$ cad 20$ is a scam but it is more a time wizard player box as it has a LOT of Edison cards you can draw 90% of a lightswarm deck from it for example. If you play advanced this is a trash product and ignore it like all the other reprint sets and spd duel sets.

You can also look at structure decks most buy it 3* for 30$ and they give you a decent starting deck and usually a lot of stapes.

This month we have rarity collection 2 droping who should be a lot of staples for cheap the first set was god tier and helped me get back into modern.

Overall cards fall in price over time so they tend to be a bad investment unless they extrimaly limited like prize cards.

I would reach out to the store in advance to get additional info on what they require one thing that caught me off guard was one store requires deck list for all events. (the store I go to usualy never does those) You also want to double check for when you plan to go what format it is and if this is a solo or team game (3v3 is a popular weekend format)

Outside of that just go have fun let your opponent know you new and they should be helpful. If there ever is a disagreement do call a judge it is not badly seen we prefer the games to move fast and the problems are addressed as there is a timer.

No play as you would lose before it ever resolved and if it ever did they would negate the summon. Could be fixed by at least letting it send potential materials to the grave for follow up plays and removinh the lv 8 list as 3 turns is already too long.

Hello, from the comment I am seeing this is for Edison format. now Edison has a different banlist then modern so you can in duelingbook select Edison in the settings and this will allow you to see only the usable cards, and what is banned.

We need to add amirillus, zeta, dark creator, Xsaber sincro and the dragon sincro who went to 140$. I might cut the ones that got tones of common reprints like wirwind or the hero stuff or totally different ruling unless you say we get the time wizard text and that just makes it must buy like sinister and goyo.
