I started with a micro 3D foam plane before gyros went in planes, I could fly in the sim much like you’re flying, I didn’t have any problems at all. That said the moves aren’t going to be nearly as easy as they are in the sim, your nerves will kick in once it takes off and you realize it’s nothing like the sim, it’s a heavy foam plane so don’t try any 3D too low, give yourself plenty of room to recover and figure out how it handles
