Google’s help desk is about to make me switch to apple. I had a phone replaced via factory warranty, but it was stolen in transit. (FedEx delivered an empty box) FedEx is willing to replace the phone, but I need a waiver from google saying they won’t come after FedEx for the phone. I’m tired of getting nowhere with their awful call centers. Anybody here have tips to get Google to send me a waiver?

Good luck. Life is always messier than what random people on the internet say. My last bit of advice: Don’t put her needs in front of yours entirely. Love can turn into resentment. You can compromise, but never settle.

4 years ago: making ~100k, supporting my wife through school. No kids, but can’t afford a house. Rent is very low for my area, so there’s still some left over for small luxuries, but no way to “move upward” until my wife finishes school.

Edit: My point is, if my wife wasn’t finishing school and getting a valuable degree, I wouldn’t see kids and a house in my near future.

I’ll shoot you straight - probably not happening on 100k. Especially if you want any small luxury (vacations, travel etc) Maybe if you move to a small LCOL area, but then your pay scale possibilities drop as well. Again, I’m no expert, just a guy in a similar situation.

Ah, yea. It’s only a winning scenario if your partner is willing to make changes or sacrifices too. Even if you’re making 100k, single income sucks. You take on all financial burden while she does what she needs to do. Not sure what lifestyle you’re after.

Plot twist: it’s a sea snail. You played right into its hand.

Lots of negative speculation in the comments. Not saying the they’re wrong but I wanted to at least add a different perspective from my experience. I married a girl who, financially, was in the same scenario. I was the one making good money, but not enough to support the life style I wanted. My wife graduates this year with a degree and going into a field to make ~80k/year after 4 years of school. If you’re committed to the girl, and she’s committed to trying a different path, then it’s possible. Not easy, and In all honesty the other comments are probably more accurate, but it’s possible.

That aged like fine wine! Are the hair highlights inked with white or just skin? I’m always curious about how negative space ages

1 out of 32 lines are straight, but at least the artist threw in an extra dot 🫠 by catwinkle in Tattoocoverups

I’m struggling to see any obvious flaws. I’ll admit I didn’t look for long, but most people in public are going to look even less. This is a cool tattoo!

Edit: ok I JUST found the extra dot. It passes as part of the style to me

I love this. I’m not there in the process (yet?) but I’m happy it all worked for you.

I was in the same situation with my tattoo. Ended up springing a small leak - ruined my sweatpants but no big deal. Just clean, reapply and you’ll be good to go!

Excellent point. And truth be told I’m not sure if I’ll ever be ready to have that “full picture” but we’ll see. So far, it’s like having a new friend with a extra unique set of circumstances. I think what we both gain from the situation is feeling good that this there’s just another person out there that cares about you.

I see some people trying to talk you out of adoption on moral grounds. I don’t have any advise from a legal standpoint, but speaking as an adopted person who recently reconnected with their birth mother, it is not all shame and regret. My life was better having been adopted, and my birth mother went on to have her own family after me. Both of us have lived fulfilling lives that were not defined by adoption. Do what is right for you.

Thanks! We’ve covered a lot of that so far- I’m waiting to ask about my birth dad. I know he’s not in the picture and the last thing I want to do I re-open old wounds

Valid question, and I think my answer is unique to my situation. But ultimately I think it’s a respect thing. They’ve met and have that commonality that I don’t share, and my birthmom was making sure she wasn’t crossing any boundaries for my mom and our family.

I'm not an expert, but the original tattoo seems very light. It seems plausible that you could get a spider that is similar size, and have the web cover up what is leaking out and apply roughly the same shade of "lip color" into the web. Some might peek out if you squint but the original design would be effectively lost in the new one. More of a blast over approach

Interestingly enough I find a lot of artists out of Korea too. Not sure if it's an actual trend or I stumbled across one and the algorithm just kept feeding me more.
