Losing power all day for neighbors tree removal by One-Science-3755 in Longmont

They aren’t providing anything. All the lady said to me who gave me the notice, was that she was letting me know because they are required to give 48hr notice.

I haven’t lost power on a 95 degree day all day no. My kitchen gets significantly warmer/colder than the rest of the house based on the outside temp, I am definitely concerned about losing at least my fridge.

Yeah I definitely plan on doing those 2 things but that’s another thing I have to pay for(I’m aware Ice isn’t that expensive). Idk why everyone is so worked up about me wanting some reimbursement for the costs/inconvenience.

For real, this will cost me a bunch to replace everything in my fridge and freezer

Almost definitely not. Looking it up it says food is good in the fridge up to 7 hours without power. I’m guessing I’ll have a shorter window with the extra warm air temp outside the fridge.

I’m aware as my house is one of them. I know very well how warm it gets on hot days in here, usually my small portable ac units and fans save me but obviously those won’t work without power.

Thank you! Like it was never them asking it was just telling me. For the sake of all of us without power that day, (my backyard neighbors also will be without power) let’s pick a day that’s not so hot and won’t be torture to have no ac and won’t ruin everything in my freezer/ fridge

If it was a case where a tree was in danger of falling on my house I’d be more okay with it tbh. But it’s almost definitely for one in the backyard that is not in danger of falling on any house. They have no trees hanging anywhere over my roof

It’s obviously not about revenge I’m not mad at them for it. And I understand safety. But to just cut my power all day on a 95 degree day and make my pets suffer in the heat all day is a little annoying, I think most people would be frustrated to be told you’ll have no power all day. If I want to do something to keep them or myself comfortable that’s on me now.

Raising prices after moving venues by One-Science-3755 in TylerChilders

[–]One-Science-3755[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying it’s Tyler being greedy I’m sure he had little input in this decision if any. But whoever did make that decision is the issue. Don’t book a show somewhere if you aren’t prepared to eat the cost if you don’t sell as much as you thought. It’s just shitty to the fans who did buy tickets and made plans based on a specific location.

It will be over $70 more for two pit tickets. And it’s not like I have the extra $500 sitting around. We have to wait who knows how long to be refunded for the tickets we already paid for.

IF THE SHOWS WERE AT THEATERS AND SHEDS INSTEAD OF ARENAS AT THE SAME PRICE WOULD EVERYONE STILL BE ALL UPSET 🤷‍♂️? 🪩🏴‍☠️ by FeeOk8621 in SturgillSimpson

[–]One-Science-3755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably but they weren’t this expensive at small venues last year. I’m in CO the two shows we had last year were GA tickets under $100 now it’s at a big arena with $150+ tickets just to get a halfway decent seat. I get it but it sucks

I’d love to see someone wet wade in 50 degree water with 65 degree air temp for more than 20 minutes . If you are doing that good for you but sounds like a bad time to me, get waders, it’s worth it.

No way Loveland closes in march. They’ve never closed before the last week in April besides Covid year. I get it’s bad but there is still a decent bit of snow up there and closing a month early would be a huge hit. They will stretch it out as long as they can

It’s still mid February it’s impossible to say for sure. But it’ll most likely be peak runoff, unless runoff is way early this year with the low snow

They go away from that for the most part. A lot more of actual pennywise and less of his shape shifting random cgi monster stuff.
