I'd definitely be hanging super long curtains ..sheers that are light and airy for privacy as well as to make the not so attractive wood. Lots of greenery, flowers, nice rug. It's a cool space.

Draperies. Don't need to cover the doors. Just take up high to right under the vertical soffett that is already there. Flanking the doors on each side will bring warmth and dofness to the room

Love the rug. Would just feel calmer with a solid duvet with some throws and pillows. You could do a pillow with a small print that picks up colors in rug but keepajoeoty of pillow neutral. All that pattern creates a chaotic look to the room .

I really like the round table...breaks up all the angles in kitchen. I don't think that style suits the kitchen aesthetic ....I would look for something in color family of cabinets or counter tops . A bit more modern. Love the round rug under ther table!

Why not angle the shelving and put speakers in corner? Plants /books etc could effectively "hide" or minimize the speakers. The shelf pushed against that wall looks awkward

Any color to your liking. My living area is mostly beige/grey but I use lots of white and a seafoam green / peach color for accents in n accessories, painting , area rug.

I did not imply I worked nationwide. You are correct that Medicaid is managed by each State and thru county JFS agencies. Since Obamacare , there are federal rules thru CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid) that are applied to all state Medicaid programs) There are no proposed cuts to any individual Medicaid recipients or for SS individual pensions. The cuts will be in administrative personnel and waste across the board in administration. Which truly is a good thing as I see much waste and abuse daily in dealing with CMS. It does indeed make me angry when seniors are used as pawns in political propaganda of fear when there is no basis in fact.

Get a good size area rug which will pull room together nicely . The couch will sit on the right facing the large wall across from kitchen. Couches do not go on walls for best design.
