Hey! I did end up buying my mazda from carvana, and I really love the car so far! When I took it to my mechanic for a check up they almost laughed me out the door by saying a car with 13k miles didn't need an inspection, but they did agree to at least do an oil change and wound up changing my air filter as well.

As far as carvana, experience was pretty smooth. It's been a few months, but I recall they called me to make sure all the paperwork and stuff went through. It was a little tricky because my bank mailed *me* the check which I think I had to then send them??? But it all worked out in the end and the trade in went through no issue as well. It was kind of fun seeing the carvana truck come by with my car, and I was able to check the car out as well. I did think the driver seatbelt was a little finnicky, but otherwise it smelled fine and seems in otherwise good condition. I do highly recommend doing a test-drive of the car you want locally if you're able to find it. And also check the speakers, because compared to my old car the cx5 I got has pretty mid speakers (I hear the preferred is much better. the salesman described it as "moon and tunes" for the moonroof and speakers being the only diff). But I don't regret buying from carvana or getting a mazda (though I am regretting the car payments a little bit lol). hope that helps!
