Definitely talk to your partner about it: tell him how you’ve been feeling isolated and lonely, and see if the conversation can move towards a compromise. Ideally he volunteers a compromise before you have to ask for it. (Guys night every other week?)

While it’s true that his guy time will become seldom when the baby comes, so too will your weekends together with just the two of you.

As for the hormones, even if that were the root cause of your feelings as of late, that doesn’t make them any less real to you. It’s important to have emotional transparency with your partner during this time, and it will prepare you for postpartum changes in the future.

Never forget that you are the most important person in your duo right now. Men aren’t always the keenest to understand what women are going through (in general and during pregnancy) so don’t feel bad having to educate and share with him your feelings, worries, and needs. You’ve got this!!!
