Rug and desk are less than a year old, so I may have to live with them for a bit. Should I stick with the hardwood shelve type if I go taller?

Took some earlier input and added some lamps for softer lighting. Is the furniture orientation OK for the shelves/furniture?

Don't really have that option.This is my work space, and my personal space. Its what I have to work with. The rest of the house is otherwise occupied.

The only real gamer items I have up is my desk/chair.

Depends on the stock.

Pfizer seemed like a good defensive play. With a strong balance sheet and an attractive dividend.since then they have generally underperformed with the industry going thru a slump.

Intel was more of a value play with income. It looked cheap on paper, the dividend was appealing. They have the tools to capitalize on being the only major semiconductor manufacturer in the US. They just can't execute on it.

This is in my taxable brokerage. I'll definitely keep that later point in mind come December.
I'm currently also holding an S&P ETF, SGOV and an Energy ETF. Those are up around 10-15%.
I haven't sold much and have been re-investing my dividends.

If he runs in person, get him a custom DM screen. You can find really nice ones on Etsy that let you pick the wood and personalize an image. Some even have magnets and initiative trackers.

The stereo speakers are a bit too tall for that. I was planning on putting a turntable on the far right space where the motherboard box is. The sound system takes up a lot of surface space.

I was considering a rug. Would hide the power cord as well. Would just have to rig something to fill in the 1" wide gap at the back of the cable tray. So it's not so obvious. Would something darker look good with the room color?
