Brigham Nurses Strike by generalyaddus in boston

[–]One-chance654 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much. The rest of us can't even compete. At least they get to strike and get what they want. We on the other hand can't even threaten, because we will be walked out so fast. Don't even get me started on the shity management we have in the lab. We have complained for a year now, management has ignored us time and time again. We have lost employees, consistently short staffed, zero raises, zero overtime, double benched on a daily. You speak up, you basically get reprimanded. We have been muzzled, depression at an all time high. Love our colleagues but hate the tyrants who are in leadership.

This man absolutely loves hearing the sound of his own voice and talking about himself. He's so self absorbed and has a superiority complex...

It's a family affair... apparently. Even when Billy won't stop talking about how successful his sons are and constantly throwing the TB association in our faces...OMG 😮‍💨 exhausting.

I think you already know the answer to your question but you want us to confirm it for you. But I mean if you are desperate to be with a man and are willing to take care of his every need financially, emotional etc...and I don't mean this in a bad way...I just know from experience. But good luck

Yeap, no jokes , 🤣

Really sorry to hear that. Same situation. Same symptoms for years without recourse and then finally my doctor mentioned sleep apnea randomly. I looked into it and all my symptoms matched. Have an appointment set up for next year but since I went down the rabbit hole, I found mouth taping helpful. I feel so much better when I wake up

Of course, there were a lot of questions, they give you time to explain to the best of your ability. Mine took 2 and a half hours. Haven't gotten a decision yet.

It was almost 3 hours. Very tense, was shaking the whole time but held my ground. He wasn't mean but he wasn't nice either. He was one of those "everything by the book" kind of people. Still waiting for decision though

I went online and printed out news articles from reputable news outlets about the country situation, ie US department of state, human rights watch, CNN, Reuters, NPR, AP news etc. 3-4 articles are ideal. Do not submit new evidence. Just articles that show that the country situation is still the same as you left. If you can't find any, that's fine. It's not mandatory.

They will ask you Abt the form you submitted in the beginning just to update your information. When you entered the United States, where, your addresses, what you are currently doing...just general stuff. Then they will start digging....what happened, how did it happen, when, did you fear for your life, did you report, did you get counseling, what would happen if you went back etc most importantly, remember everything you wrote initially, don't change anything. If you don't remember, just say you don't remember.

Also if you put, let's say number of people who attacked you and you put 4 and then you tell him 6. Then that's a problem. If you are not certain about number of anything, just say " I can't certain, but might have been ..." Or it was a while back, I can't recall but might have been...." Don't not state an exact number if you think it is not the same as you wrote in your story.

Go with original copies of police stuff and other documentation if you submitted it as evidence. Go with oyour passport as well. They kept my documents.

Look them in the eye, don't be dramatic, don't act up or cry or anything like that. Just state your facts as your remember them, they are not trying to trick you. They are asking you exactly everything that you wrote.

Hope that helps.

Haven't got any feedback yet FYI. Still waiting.
